Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East

Having tired of all the places I play on and around the Peninsula, a time was booked here for a change of pace. I was a little suspicious that so many tee times were available for same day booking but my suspicions turned out to be unfounded. The course was in excellent condition, staff super friendly and the pace of play was great. Also a a rarity in that the driving range had nearly all new balls. I still can't figure out why this place was nearly empty on a weekend when they were offering 18 holes with cart for $40 on GolfNow. I'll definitely be back and it will be soon !

The course should give more discount fee especially to locals.

I've played here several times in the last month and each time the course has been in magnificent condition. The rolling hills and the Bay act as a picturesque backdrop which seems to pick me up after a bad shot. This Blue Rock has become my go to spot even though it is not the closet course to my home. If you enjoy not so hot temperatures during the summer months and want to soak in all the splendor of this course, give it round because you'll be impressed.
Parking in the lower and closest lot gets full by about 8 am so keep this in mind if you want a closer to the club house parking spot..

The course looks absolutely beautiful and no more than 2-3 minute wait maximum on just a few holes. One of my favorite courses in the Valley

difficult greens, tricky pin placement and lots of undulations, but overall, very fun!

Played after 2pm and the course was all ours. Very very cheap too.

The course are in great condition even though we are in serious drought.
Great job of keeping the in great shape.

Course is usually good, great for the price. However they just aireated all the greens and they are pachy and covered in sand. Course tends to back up on busier days.

Played on Thursday morning, good pace, about 4 1/4 hours. The course was in fantastic condition. The greens had been sanded about 2 weeks prior and were a bit slow, but still played well. The fairways were lush and green, many holes with great views, lots of elevation changes that make this course very interesting and a bit of a challenge. I would not recommend walking this course unless you are very fit. I will definitely return to play again soon. I highly recommend this course.

The course was in great shape the day we played. Pace of play was good, very little wind this day. Pin placement was difficult and made for challenging play. Great place to play.

DO NOT PLAY HERE ON THE WEEKEND. I have played the East course numerous times with no problems, but I just finished the West course for the first time on a Saturday and it was the biggest zoo I have ever seen. I have never in my life felt like a golf course was overcrowded until today. People and carts were backed up everywhere the eye could see. My brother and I were literally put behind three consecutive fivesomes that were drinking excessively and being overly rowdy all day; we're talking incessant screaming on every hole and disrupting any sort of focus or rhythm for anyone within 5 miles. The round took over five hours. I understand the course is trying to maximize revenue, but it should not come at the cost of diminishing the experience to the end user (especially without a warning that we were behind three fivesomes).

I will certainly not be playing here again as they ruined my Saturday by being greedy, over-booking, and neglecting to keep up the speed of play. There are plenty of courses to choose from and this one will never cross my mind when deciding where to play. It was the worst golf experience in every way and the course is mediocre at best; if I could give negative stars I would.

Course is in good shape. They brought us out a new cart at the turn because our cart was running out of power.

Had a great day to enjoy the course. Play was a little slow. Course conditions were good above average. Staff was super nice.

Good greens helped me tally 25 putts; a rarity at this season in this area. No one behind or in front also helped. Been playing this about 3X a year for years; it's very fun.

I play blue rock since its 5 minutes away. The last few months. The carts have been running out charge the last two-three holes. On 1/23. It had rub out of juice after the 13th. They replaced 10 minutes later but I decided to quit and see if I can a rain check not refund. The office said no since I played most of the holes and that I made the reservation via golfnow.com. I usually make it thru blue rock web but it doesn't remember my password and I keep renewing. The same thing happened on 1/23. I made thru blue rock but it did not take and they told me to call golfnow. I did and made the reservation via golfnow. I'm a regular player of blue rock but the inconvenience of carts that don't last thru the holes and a few times is disappointing. I like to walk but currently rehabbing knee requires a cart. I would of appreciated a rain check or some sort of discount but none was given. I won't golf there with buddies anymore.

It's my first rounding in Blue Rock East. I expected a little better than typical muni course, but the layout feels private and challengeable.
Fairway up down status is somewhat difficult. Green is not flat, so you should read the break in care.
I think this course is better than Hiddenbrooke or Eagle Vine.
Not quite sure about West.

The course played ok the fairways could be in better shape than they r for the price they charge.

friendly staff -good course somewhat well maintained . good value for money course. I will come back and play again definitely.

Golf course is in good condition.
There is a fivesome group in front of us that hold everybody back a little bit.
