Course has some cool elevation changes
Went out with 3 others on a Saturday morning. Weather was a bit chilly at first as tee time was 7:40am. Weather warmed up and conditions became excellent. The grass was wet due to rain from previous day, but nothing to drastic. Had a great time out and a great day. Pace of play could have been a just a tad but quicker from the couple of groups in front of us, but that wasn't too big of a deal. Overall, I really like this course. I would have to say I still like the East side just a hair more than the West course here at Blue Rock Springs Golf Course, but only because I have played it more often.
Bluerock Springs East
Always fun and challenging.
Great course for the price!
East course is very underrated and well worth the price of admission!
good value
Greens were in excellent condition however fairways were very sloppy due to recent rains. Paid $34 on a Sunday morning, very reasonable. Looking forward to playing again in drier conditions.
Have to play here
Love playing here great course with lots of challenges. I play this course often and the pace of play is usually very good, but due to the rain the course was cart path only and there were a few groups walking anyway besides that this is a very good course with a west and eastern side 18.
cater to the public, they pay as well
Seems the Men's Club is not only the top but the only priority. Played a round on Friday, Cart path only, in front of us was a fivesome (again, cart path ONLY) This "feisty" five were teeing off from the tips , very often just carrying the Reds. We made a query, so to speak , to the Marshall, we got a "oh , there with the Men's club" a brilliant retort. REALLY, so clubbers can gang up and play , not only bad, but slow golf from a tee box designed for golfers that can at least carry the ball past the teeing ground complex. Never again.
Blue Rock Spring east course
I would have given the course a 5 star if the sand bunkers did not have big rocks in it.
Fun to play course
Clean fareways and beautiful putting greens with beautiful views! Plenty sandtraps to challenge the best golfer!
Nice Course & Great Views
First time playing this course. Have played every course around it and decided to try it, glad I did. Played the East Course, has some great views and some outstanding holes. #7 is a great hole, straight downhill and then 90 degrees right. #15 is another great hole uphill. Greens were in great shape, fairways the same. Traps were the only problem, not enough sand. Loved the course though and will play it again. Didn't comment on the 19th hole but I hear it is good. Had a great polish dog at the snack bar. I highly recommend this course. Star Rating 4.8
Great value
One of the best courses in the Bay Area condition wise.
Greens true and soft.
Fairways green and we'll cut.
Nice Course at a decent value
My wife and I played here for the first time Wednesday November 4th, 2015. We were pleasantly surprised with the course and its conditions. The pace of play was great with only minimal wait times at the first tee. My only, minor, complaint would be that certain members of the grounds crew seemed to be oblivious to golfers. After leaving my approach shot short on 12 I was left with a 10 yard pitch. As I'm lining up the shot a groundskeeper drives on the green and starts to sand it. I know that course maintenance is key at any facility but driving onto the green as I'm about to be on it is a bit excessive. Other that the sanding situation happening on a few holes on the back nine I was happy with our visit the Blue Rock Springs.
Bad customer service
Rude and unintelligent people run the pro shop. They also play with no tee time causing backup and refuse to let twosomes play thru their tiresome with no groups in front. Gonna make a point to play here less often.
Sorry to hear about your recent experience, we value your comments and our customers. Please call me so we may discuss your experience.
Thank You,

Blue Rock East in mid Oct
Fun course, we played 2-3 weeks after aerification of greens - they had recovered OK, not quite as well as I expected after asking in the pro shop though. We moved well enough on the front but hit a road block on the back, but overall pace of 4:18 not horrific.
Nice layout
My first time. I like the layout and views. Greens were still healing from being punched recently, but not bad. Played in about 3 hours. I will definitely be back.
First impressions are always important. Thank you for coming out and enjoying the "BLUE ROCK" experience in person.

Great Course
We played the West Course. It has generous fairway, good maintenance, and friendly staff. Well worth the money.
I only wish other golfers would repair their ball marks and the bottles on our cart were not empty so that we could repair the divots.
Thank you for the nice review. The course is in good condition. We are taking small steps in improving the whole golf experience for you.
Fabulous Course
Fun course with great views. Several holes are highly elevated with adventuresome twists and turns. Greens are fast and well maintained.
Thank you for your playing Blue Rock Springs. Customer comments are always beneficial. We hope to see you soon.

Love Blue Rock golf course
Four of us played in the morning if a very hot day. Blue Rock was perfect as usual. The views from some of the west course T boxes were magnificent. So if you're having a really rotten round, the view of the whole Bay Area will certainly improve your day.
Staff of course always gets 5 stars. Course is outstanding. Well kept. They take pride in their golf courses appearance even during the worst drought in 30 years. The food at the cafe is very good.
East course blue rock
I just started golfing about 2 years ago. I was able to get a good deal on golfnow for a twilight tee time. The course is in good conditon, the staff is nice and prompt. West course is usually all booked up for some reason so I always play the east course. Some say the west course is a little more open for the beginner that's why it's always booked. I don't mind east or west as long as it's a cheap tee time. Lol. So anyways back to my round. Me and my father inlaw played the east course on a weekday at the twilight time, there were suprisely a lot of people playing being that it was late in the day. We were able to get a quick 18 in about 3 hours and able to catch the game after. Driving range and putting area are in good condition. I Live close by and always enjoy playing the east course. Good condition, good pace. Would recommend for a quick 18.
Thank you for coming out and enjoying Blue Rock Springs. If there is anything we can do to make your golf experience better, please call or email me. Thanks again!
