Drove down from Bradenton it was worth the ride. Directions were tricky the GolfNow address is wrong FYI. Greens were pure fairways a little dry but still good. Good layout some fun holes and some straight forward ones. Some holes you might want to change what tee box you hit from the distances are off. Staff was nice. Check it out

No ranger and incredibly SLOW play. Two adults and two teen age children with two moms in a third cart tagging along. After nine holes, couldn’t take it anymore and played one through nine over again.

Pretty much a brand new course, but reasonably good layout and condition. Biggest problem is that it was hard to find because it's a new development, and my GPS couldn't figure out where it was.

Drove 1 1/2 hrs to check out this new (11 wk old) course. Was able to get a HotDeal, and was worth the cost and drive time. Course conditions were immaculate from the driving range to the putting area and from tee to green. There isn't a whole lot to look at for scenery since the area is being developed, but the on course conditions were perfect. Tee boxes flat, nicely grassed and with 6 options, great for any golfer. Fairways were like carpet, sand was beautiful white sand, and greens were true. A couple of fun holes and enough water to challenge, without ever being too much. The bunkering was amazing (very visually intimidating from the tee).

They just opened 2 months ago. Noisy Gas carts, but have GPS. Only have a trailer for a pro shop right now. Nice practice range.

Entire area is under heavy development for a while, this will be a real gem once everything is complete.

My only concern is that the course will go private in 2024.

Played Sunday in gale force winds yet the course was still very much playable and very fun. The fun part was playing the course differently because of the wind had to keep the ball low on every shot even the approaches the wind would take your ball sailing in any direction. It wanted to putting was a challenge due to the extreme speed of the greens, which are in perfect shape, but still managed a birdie and a handful of pars. The staff is awesome as always there was not a cart attendant due to the heavy rain the night before. The backdrop gentleman were very informative and I will come play this course again and again this summer I recommend this cars to anyone who wants to have a great time on a great course with great staff.

The course was very nice well manicured not worth 149$ ever also need to put food that has substance on your cart that makes its rounds through the course . Muffins and candy won’t cut it they have companies that cater to golf courses that carry sandwiches and wraps .also a grill with hot dogs and burgers might help . Great selection of clothes in clubhouse with a fair price on them. That’s my 2 cents

Course is in great condition and very fun to play. Everyone on the staff were friendly and accommodating. I had an 11:56 tee time. I went right on as a single and wasn't pressured to pair up. Pace of play was fast. Greens are fast!

I like Wellen. Larger greens, wide fairways, full sand in bunker, mint condition. It’s not an overly difficult track, but it’s scenic. A few reachable par 4’s, all the 5’s are as well. Really with they had a 6400-6500 tee box. 6200 is light, 6900 is heavy. Right now you feel the wind at all times with no homes built. Greens are fast enough, very true

Lots of wildlife , greens roll good and overall conditions are great . It was a 5 hr round on this day as we were behind a junior tournament. I love playing here

Great new course in the area. Amazing shape and true greens. Very hard to stop the ball on greens, but a fun track

Just what we needed a premium new course in the area…Other than Riverwood and Heron Creek at least we have a little competition for us golfers…Now maybe the three of them will be competitive on their pricing..As for the golf course itself, it is a must play! Course is well maintained and staff are fantastic.. Great cart girl on the beverage cart..

This was my second time out. Course was in great condition. The back tees will provide a fair challenge on most holes. The forward tees provide the occasional golfer a chance to par or birdie most of the time.
