Wonderful change
A couple of years ago this course was unplayable. Now, what a change! So good. Super layout. So much fun to play.
Course has greatly improved from before it was closed. The greens are nice, fast, and roll nice. The fairways still need to work and some areas the grass needs to grow back in, especially around some of the greens. The elevation changes are great, not what you would think you’d find in central Florida. Enjoyed the course and will definitely play here again.
What an amazing turnaround
We played Clermont National when it was still Sanctuary Ridge a couple years ago. It was garbage. Heard they re-opened under the new name. Was really impressed. Nice range with Toptracer, nice practice green, nice clubhouse. Pro shop was kind of small, but totally serviceable. Staff was nice. Course was in really nice shape, from tee to green. Bunkers had sand, greens rolled nice, fairways nicely grown in for this time of year. They are doing it right. Is it worth the rack rate of $90 this time of year? Probably not, but I got a hot deal for $70 and was fine at that price.
Very Challenging
If the course doesn’t get you the hills will! So much fun but very challenging. HCP 23
Pretty good, too expensive.
Course was in good condition. Greens, tee boxes, and fairways were quite nice. Interesting layout, lots of elevation changes which you don’t find in Florida much. However the course is just too much money. For $15-20 less I think it would be worth it. But a lot of holes are up against houses and the road and just not the best looking.
Will get better
Still very new course is very nice but needs to finish growing in. Seems like they forgot to roll the first fairway its like driving on a washboard. Bathrooms on the course would also be nice.
Excellent Course
This course is fun and well maintained. The cart paths are old concrete from past owners. It is not suitable to walkers. The rough is, well, rough. Some sand traps are more like sand areas. In all a good experience even if a bit pricey.
A Must-Play in Central Florida
A great course with a very unique layout. Picturesque with elevation variations and sharp doglegs, Clermont National is a must-play in Central Florida. The off-course amenities are second to none, and the range with Top Tracer, is open until 1030pm. Restaurant, bar, food trucks, and corn hole are just a few features adding to the experience. I might even bring the family there for a night out, even when not playing a round. Only drawback was pace of play, however, every golfer knows that it can suffer from day to day for a variety of reasons.
Over priced
Always a great view from the t box and greens , course conditions are not worth the money they are asking
Fezman NB
Greens were very good however some fairways were a little bumpy in the carts. Course layout was good. If you want to play a course here in Orlando area that has big elevations this is the course. Definitely recommend
After the first hole. It was great!
They got me out as a single before the major rush which was great. The first hole scared me as the fair way was really ruff but, beyond that it was really great. Staff was great all around from the pro shop, on the course and 19th hole! Greens were honest and layout was one of the best around, hands down. Needs slope rating so you can post but, it’s in the queue, so only a matter of time!
Putting in the rotation
This was a challenging course. Watch out for hole 17! They have an awesome set up with a range. Also, a fun hang out area after the round with food and drinks.
Love the course
First time playing her. A challenging course, undulating fairways, love it. Excellent course @rickstewart.
Nice course…price tag to steep
Course is great if you like hills..fairways and greens are good. Bunkers are ok…but stay out of them right? Any hoo…price tag of $90 is too much for this course. This very well could be to keep those from destroying the course but hopefully it changes in the future. El campeon is pretty much the same price and that course is near immaculate.
