Peacock Gap Golf Club
About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Great Date-Day with the Wife
Played in early August so fairways very dry. Greens were great, large and undulating/challenging. Wind was a challenge. Par 3’s played long. Plenty of bunkers to make you think of shots. But, not too tough for the novice. Plenty of practice area. Nice meal in their grill afterwards which faces the driving range.
Incompetent proshop and management
Paired with threesome that was late and showed 2 people in one cart a single in another. Single refuses to abide by course rules to share cart.
Why did that Single (who was late) rather than I who checked in 20 minutes early get the cart ???? Threesome was let out I HAD TO WAIT FOR OVER AN HOUR UNTIL SOMEBODY ELSE SHOWED UP BEFORE I WAS LET OUT IN THE MEANTIME NOBODY ELSE TEED OFF. Called the general manager left 6 messages.....no response.
If you have the courage please provide me with the owner's so I can notify him. Horribly diplay of incompetence.
Nice day golfing
Weather was perfect The pass of play was good Staff was friendly
Unbelievably bad!
I know there is a drought and water is scarce, but the fairways and tee boxes were awful!! You don’t need water to keep them mowed! Staff at pro-shop are unfriendly, and pace of play is ridiculously slow. Here’s an idea...how about spacing out the tee times so you don’t have to crawl up the next groups bung hole every single hole! What a joke.
Problems at Peacock
The course was crowded and the play was slow. We were sent off as a five-some which exacerbated the problem. We finally gave up after 14 holes.
My pet peeve was the electric cart settings that restrict where you can go unmercifully! Really frustrating !!
The course was very dry, (we are having a drought) but quite dramatically so.
forced two-somes in cart, with delta variant spiking...
BEWARE! peacock's head golf pro and staff supervisor just began mandating that golfers must ride in carts together, even if they are total strangers with no knowledge of the others' vaccination status or health conditions.
or, they must pay an additional $16 to the fees already paid, in order to ride solo on a golf cart, which had been an allowed practice over the past year.
they're saying covid is over, even though the delta variant is rapidly spreading all through out the world, including here in the u.s.
they also said that all golf courses are charging the extra fee, if a golfer wants to ride solo, which is not the case, since i rode solo at journey at pechanga in temecula just last week.
Dry and hard- slow play
Crowded took us 5:30hours. Fairways are hard and dry, but it is a drought. Greens are in good shape and receptive.
