Second Time
Its cheap so I cant complain that much. The pace of play is slow because they have too many walkers and this is a course that you need to walk 2-3 minutes to get to the next hole. If you have a good book or have good company then the pace of play should not bother you as much, but 2.5 hours for 9 holes is rough...
Course is terrible and terrible location! Crossing streets to go to next just ugly
In good condition
Played Sunday 3pm. Good pace. Track is pretty fun though houses can be close. Rough was longish but not too unkempt unless you're way off the fairway. Greens and bunkers are nice.
Boring course and poorly run
The course is flat and basic with only a couple challenges. Course is in poor condition as tee boxes are beat up and the greens are riddled with unrepaired ball marks. Practice facilities could be good if they repaired the netting and got new balls every season. Practice balls are so old and beat up it is hard to judge whether your practice session is going well.
very good course and great weather
San Ramon is a very good course.
The layout is challenging but not too difficult.
The pace of play is very good and the course is in very good condition.
The weather was close to perfect but can be hot in the summer.
1st Time Will be Back
Overall really enjoyed the course. Not a fan of how close the homes are to the fairways on certain holes, but a wonderful course. Pace of play was quick, but I cant imagine what it would be like if there were walkers in front as you cross the street 6 times and some are long distances from each other. I guess I lucked out the day I played.
Nice day with lots of play for a Monday
Nice course. First time playing here. I plan to make it back.
Very good course
San Ramon is an excellent course.
The layout is challenging but not too tough.
The course is in good condition and the pace of play is good.
The staff is very friendly and accomodating.
Worst Golf Day in 10 YEARS!
It took 3 hours to play 9 HOLES because the staff does not have the skills to run a kids tournament. I am a local for 15 years, and will NEVER EVER play there again. They are a joke, and have no clue how to run a golf course. Play at your own risk.... or better yet play Canyon Lakes.
Pretty durn good
They've fixed this course up. Not a destination course, but a good value. Lay out is average. No cool elevation changes, a bit flat. Greens and bunkers are very good. Nice sand in bunkers. Greens are kept up well. Houses are a bit close. I feel sorry for the homeowners on 12. And 16. They get hammered with balls. I'll walk the front for $15 super twilight all day long. $65 for 18 on a weekend am is ok once in a while.
Great Experience!
Today was the first day that I can say I had a great experience from start to finish! The course was in great shape, as it has been the last few times I played but today, the pace of play was fantastic! The course usually backs up around the 13th hole, today free and clear! The improvements they have made from checking in to finishing up the 18th have been great. I will be playing here more often because of it.
Very good course
San Ramon is a challenging course that is fun to play.
Greens are in good condition but not easy to play. We played in a little over 3 hours which is great. The weather was close to perfect.
No complaints
The course is in good condition.. greens are good but. A little slow. Overall, okay to play this course.
Good golf course
The course is in good shape. It has a nice layout and an all around enjoyable round of golf.
