Pro needs to lose the attitude
The course itself was fine. Nothing special but you get what you pay for. However the pro was about as rude as can be. I showed up about 40 minutes early to get some range time and practice in, he goes “You’re too early. Your tee time isn’t for another 40 minutes.” So I say, yes I know, I came early to hit some balls on the range. You’d think he’d be appreciative of the fact I was spending more money at the course, but nope he gave me an eye roll and said that’ll be $10. Also when it was time for me to tee off, there were no carts so he had me go harass the group coming off of 9 for their cart. I’d come back since the course was decent, but really don’t want to have to deal with that guy again.
2 year old greens ruined and a rude attendant make this a hard no
Greens were redone 2 years ago. They are unrecognizable. Not in a good way. They looked diseased and several were wet mud combined with grass.
The attendant checking me in behaved like she was doing me a favor letting me on the course. The interaction with her will make me limit my return anytime soon.

Love playing Charlie Yates. The course is layed out beautifully. Not very long so it’s a good course for a player at my level.

Great place to work on your game and not feel pushed !
Overall I love This course. I would Say to make sure you ask when the high school is playing a tournament because it does back up the course a bit. However, still worth the money.

Good short course /new clubhouse
Enjoyed this course, they have a new clubhouse which is great, hopefully the tee boxes and greens get some attention but overall a good value

Practice
Charlie Yates is the best trac to maintain your game, I mean that have accommodations for your putting game, chipping, bunker practice, and driving pleasure. throughout the year the club amenities are number one and the staff second to none.

Pace of play needs to be addressed
I play here frequently. Love this place. Pace of play needs to be addressed! Get a starter and make them pair people up. I’ve waited on every tee box so far in my round.

Why didn’t I go sooner
I’m new to the area and have been struggling to find a public course I actually want to play again. This place solved that. Great course and layout, awesome practice facilities. I look forward to going back.
