Yates is in great shape
Kudos to Bobby Jones Golf Links for the vast improvements that have been made. Greens were great. Disappointed that they've chose to change the size of #7 but the putting surfaces were excellent.
Perfect Sunday morning
Was staying in the area for a couple days, and kept passing by a beautiful course next to East Lake. Saw an 8am Hot Deal and had to jump on it. Gorgeous day, well manicured course, and the hacks ahead just gave us an excuse to hit a few more practice shots along the way. Very good test of most of the clubs in the bag, especially with the breeze. Bite-sized golf at its finest.

Convenient
Being so close to everything this course is great to fill a few hours with some great scenes and some challenging par 3 holes it was a lot of fun shoutout to the staff that was extra friendly. Fairways were well kept and the greens were quick. I would come back and play this course again.

Best short course
An awesome short course. Par 30. Some great holes: 2, 4, 5, and 6 are all super fun. Course is in excellent condition. Youth programs at CY build the next generation. Get a meal at the bbq place on 2nd and Hosea Williams afterward!

Good 9 Hole Course in Area
The lady at front desk was amazing and did a good job telling me about course. I wouldn’t waste your time with a cart. You can walk faster than the carts go which was obvious the locals knew this. Was a little price on range balls $10 for small bucket which was only a few dollars less than I paid for my round. Pace of play was terrible. Had a young guy in front of me who talked on phone for a bit, then hit a few balls from one tee box then bump to last tee box and hit another one. Course conditions were good and greens were good. Overall a good course, except for the things stated above. I would play here again if I return to area.

Great staff. Course was in great shape in light intermittent rain. Very enjoyable in spite of my very rusty swing.

Great course for beginners and experienced golfers
The staff at Charlie Yates are just incredibly helpful and friendly. Winston was working the desk when we came in w five folders and he made it all work so we could all play. I love the course. It’s well cared for and just challenging enough for me as a newish golfer.
