Charlie Yates is a great little track. I can get in great practice for pennies.

Fun Executive Course
I've played this course on and off through the summer. The greens are better as they've been working on getting them back in shape. I feel it's a bit higher price for a short course.

Good value. Greens are all back!
I read several reviews about this course having temporary greens on 7 and 9, and there was even a note on their website about it, but today (Sept. 4) all the greens were in great shape. Be advised that this is almost a par 3 course, as only three holes are par 4, with no par 5s. However, this worked out great for us and I think this course was a good value. Overall, it seemed like a well maintained course, especially the greens; whatever they were repairing they did a great job. There are hills and water features to make it a bit more challenging, but overall fun and manageable for even a newish player like me. There were a lot of players out, so so we had to do some regular waiting, but nothing too bad - played 9 holes in 2hr15mins.

Reasonable in city option
This is a reasonable option playing in the city for a 9 hole course. Good practice facility and updated clubhouse. But greens are still in process of repair so 2 temporary greens. Pace of play is slow but not terrible. Will likely play again when greens are fixed.

Solid for 9 Holes
Thankfully the greens are being remedied. It was a night and day difference compared to the last time I played a few months ago. They stacked the tee times hard though, we were waiting all day on people in front of us, sometimes even waiting on multiple parties. And then the Marshall snapped at me saying I needed to keep up with pace of play, like he hadn’t just watched us wait at the tee box for 10 minutes on the people in front of us. Glad I got a hot deal on it, otherwise it might not have been worth the money. Felt like I did more waiting than golfing.
