On the 14th tee. Kind of a blind drive over a hill. Fun hole. Photo submitted by u000006907181 on 06/28/2019

AAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Pace of play killed my day and I’m not a great golfer, it seemed like the clientele were just using the place as a hangout and I know that in these times a lot of people are home with nothing to do so your going to get a lot of first and people new to golf but come on the course need to pick it up.
Greens were in great condition. Lots of run off and exposed dirt/rocks in the fairways. Fun course
Nice course.
Pleasant surprise. A few holes were hard to find (poor signage). Tee boxes need some work. Good value for the money.
Diamond in the rough
First time playing here. Greens were the best thing about the course. Tee boxes the area of most need. It's a challenging course.
Enjoyed the hills
We were vacationing in the area. Took a chance and booked an initial round for Friday; quickly decided to return the following Sunday. Scenic, well maintained, and challenging. Use the hills, sides of the hills and slopes wisely. Ranger Bob was very nice. Will be back.
Good Day
Beautiful day to play. Course was a little confusing for a first time visit. Found myself walking up to confirm direction several times. A ton of bare spots and very hard ground. With all the rain we have had over the last six months or so you would hope for better coverage.
Will return and try again.
If your chipping game sucks, this is a really tough course....will always play here even though it needs more work than any course I know. It’s a fun quick round of golf for cheap.
My favorite
Great course, my favorite course. No pressure while playing great and friendly staff,
Hidden gem
Enjoyed the day and will definitely return for another round. Greens were in great shape and it’s clear that the staff have given careful consideration to creating a good golfing experience. Can’t say enough good things.
Different and Fun Course - Tons of Elevation Chages
This was my first time playing Country Land golf course. The course staff are very nice and friendly.
The course is very hilly which poses some challenges and lots of variety. The condition of the course were just O.K. for me. There was very little grass on the tee boxes and the fairways. Several times, I had to move my ball just to be able to hit from some grass even when I was in the fairway. However, for the price, I cannot complain too much.
This course is very different from the kinds I frequently play. Country Land has lots of blind shots and every hole is on the side of a hill, or going up or down a hill. So, even tee shots hit to the middle of the fairway, many times, do not have a good chance of staying on the fairway. Lots of elevation changes and elevated greens makes the course a challenge. The course is not expense at all so today, Monday, the course was jam packed with players and there was a lot of waiting on the groups ahead.
Due to the great amount of play the course gets, the greens are bumpy and inconsistent due to lack of grass on the putting surface. Due to the bumpiness, the greens are a real challenge as they are like many of the fairways (carved out of the side of a hill) so there were several times where I hit into the green but the ball rolled all the way off and down a hill due to the fact the greens have lots of slopes and drop offs.
