Chicopee Woods Golf Course - Village Nine

Great course for the cost. Solid layout, good condition greens, and great service like the outside grill at the turn. We had a group trying to play as a six group in front of us. The marshall was quick to respond and break them up.

Nice course, but impossible to play with the consistent over-booking. I tried to get in a quick 9 on Sunday evening and had to leave after 5 holes or else those 9 holes would have taken me 4 HOURS. This was not a one-off experience either, this course is almost always extremely backed up. To finish a round here you need to come equipped with extreme patience and plenty of snacks, cause you're going to be out there a WHILE.

Hint for MGMT: when you notice there aren't enough spots in your parking lot for all of your guests, ya might want to dial back the greed meter a bit. The architects knew how many cars those lots should hold when they designed the place.

Heck, just raise the rates if you have to. I'd much rather pay a little more and actually be able to play golf, than get my hopes up only to have them crushed by multiple painfully slow foursomes on every hole, all the time.

Even though Chicopee is the most conveniently located course to me, it will remain a last resort until something changes.

Course is in fantastic shape. Had a grint tournament but lace was still good. Incredible staff, highly recommend this course

The course was awesome but they schedule to many tee times which makes the pace of play impossible to finish 18 holes unless your ready for an 8am tee time with 6 hours of time to play.

Got in 9 holes before the sky's opened up and the course was soaked as were we.

Nice course and greens were in great condition until flooded.

My wife and I would like to come back to play the whole course.

My son and I enjoyed the 10 holes we got to play before being inundated by a 1 and a half hour thunderstorm. I didn’t try to get a rain check due to the fact that I live 2 1/2 hours away in Asheville,NC, so I don’t have any idea when I could have redeemed the rain check. The course was a fair challenge and I very much enjoyed our day.

I really like the course, it is always in great condition. I really appreciate the staff, they work with me very well for tee times as my group of 12 play there several times a year. Veterans special $39 Monday are appreciated.

The golf shop and staff really do a nice job of getting people off on time and keeping the golfers moving.

I enjoy these 9's. Look forward to next time here.

It doesn’t matter whether you go during the week or on the weekend the rate of play he’s always had a good speed you don’t have to hurry you don’t have to push and it’s just at a great rate and the Rangers keep it that way. They always let you know at least a week or two in advance if they’re going to aerate the greens so that everybody is aware. On the weekends they always have a barbecue where you can get a decent lunch and something cold to drink. All the carts have coolers on them and ball and club washers which is very convenient. The driving range is always kept nice. Every time I play the club it’s the same way they take care of it better than some private clubs just always a good experience recommended Haley.

Always enjoyed playing this course, best bang for your buck in the area. Good layout, slow but true greens and good practice area…but with 3 nine hole courses, they’ve learned to stack tee times to the point where if you turn in 2 hrs or less you’ll be stuck behind a group just teeing off, or MADE TO WAIT until they call the next group so they make their scheduled tee time. I was actually held up for 30 min at 7:25 am, even though I was the first to tee off on a particular 9, and told to not play under 2 hrs bc I would interfere with new groups on my 2nd nine. INSANE. Don’t expect to play here in under 5 hrs, even if you’re the first group to go off. They punish players for fast play to stack tee sheets and make money. Bad culture for today’s golf unless the goal is to push good players away until you’re only left with hacks that don’t fix ball marks or divots (if they even make them HA) ***Suggestion: charge 10-15$ more per tee time and reduce the tee sheet by 8-10 groups and you’ll make more with somewhat happier players. And the grill employees don’t show up until 9:30. They should be there at 6:30 with pre-made biscuits and coffee ready before your tee time, like other good courses have learned…Won’t be playing here again which is an avoidable loss.
