A good course at a very fair price.
Unfortunately, a number of greens had not been cleared of seed pods that had dropped from nearby trees. This is a seasonal problem.
Majestic views
The course was in fairly good shape. Greens were nice. Fairways may have been cut too short but not terrible. Very forgiving course if you hit an errant ball. May want to recheck yardage from tees with gps. Some were off a half a club or more. Otherwise a great value.
Always a fun course to play.
Play here often the course has improved considerately and the greens and tee boxes are in great shape. Highly recommend Laurel Island to everyone. It's tucked into the trees along the Marsh in Georgia. I always enjoy the peaceful tranquility of this course.
Nice layout
The wife and I had a very enjoyable round. A few of the bunkers were wet from earlier rain but fairways were great along with the greens. Mostly open fairways which the wife especially enjoyed. Some challenging, but fair, water holes. It is a varied, interesting course with a very nice driving range. Staff very friendly
Great Gourse
Greens are hard because they are basically new but fast and in exelent condition, ball rolls nice.
Nice course for the money
Had over 2 inches of rain day before and course was still playable. Cart path only but still had a great time.
I would recommend this course.
Bang for your buck
This is a great course. The greens are in perfect shape. It was very easy to get to the course. It's 5 min off of 95. This was my first time playing it and I can't wait to go there again. Think their prices are a little low considering how awesome Laurel Island is.

This course has become one of my favorite courses..always in good shape.
We had a "fivesom" ahead of us..they were members and kind of rude..played slow..
Other than that it was an enjoyable round of golf.
Course has great features
I have being playing thius course for years, because I like it. Actually is in the best shape ever.
Great layout
We enjoyed our round very much. Greens are smooth with good speed. Marsh views are lovely. Holes are interesting and varied.
Excellent driving range, putting green and practice areas . This is a great stopping point if you are traveling to Florida. Definitely worth a stop over for a terrific golf course at a great value.
Great Time with Daughter
My daughter (age 13) and I played here in the afternoon and had a very smooth round. Pace was never a problem and the course was in good shape for the winter season. The staff at the pro shop were very friendly and answered any questions we had. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun round on a moderately challenging course, especially for time spent with your children.
Very nice experience
Beautiful course and tough layout. First time playing the course and impressed. Not easily walked as there are several long distances between green and tee boxes. Nice experience and planning to return soon.
Great course(greens slow but good)
Golf course in great shape !
Staff has no personality..but course is good.
A Consistently Good Value
We enjoy this course, as it is moderately priced and moderately challenging for the amateur golfer. We will be back and usually bring a neighbor when we play.
Good layout for a good price
Course is a nice layout, but condition is average at best.
Not Too Bad
Because of seeding on the front nine had to play the back twice. As stated in other reviews, rough was alittle thick and hard to find your ball (good challenge, but pace was slow). Otherwise the pace was a little slow having to let a twosome through who were playing best ball and breathing down our necks, then 2 holes later a single came charging through who seemed annoyed that we weren't faster or that we didn't wait sooner for him.
Also the hot dogs seemed like they were cooked way before we got them, were cool and the condiments are lacking, no onions or relish. Poor selection of sodas in cans or bottles and no chips to speak of.
