About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Looking good!
It's greening up nicely and the greens are in good shape. Greenside bunkers are ok, some better than others. Fairway bunkers not so much. MV stays pretty consistent and it's always a good time.
Enjoyed the trip
I enjoyed the layout. Generous fairways. Greens in great shape. Grass was pretty thin, especially on the tee boxes. Might try again once it greens up soy.
Played on a Friday morning, the day after a pretty heavy rain and basically had the course to ourselves

The usual
It’s been awhile since I’ve played this course. Overall it was in good shape. Greens were in great shape but a few had some bare spots. Fairways were ok considering the time of year when winter is just ending. They are working on redoing the bunkers. When we got to the 17th and 18th holes they have been updated with real sand instead of GA clay mixed with sand. A welcome change around here! Overall is was a good round. We finished in just under 4 hours has a three-some even after letting a single and two-some play through. Will definitely play this course again.

Pleasantly surprised!
Played on a Sunday at 11am. The Golf pass app was fully booked so i was expecting a very crowded round but was surprised as there were good gaps in between the groups. We were a twosome and didnt get paired with anyone and didnt wait on any holes. Finished the round in 4 hours.
The only complaint was that it rained that week and the bunkers were mini lakes and still a lot of muddy areas... cant really blame them on that though. all in all a fun time

Nothing to highlight
Decent pace, greens were rolling smooth but not fast (not terribly slow either), any grass thats not a fairway is a mess. Tee box terrible in many holes. Bunkers seem to be getting refreshed in some holes but need new sand and some serious work in all of them. My first time actually taking out the ball and playing off rough without a penalty stroke. It’s a $25-30 course at best.
