About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Good course but slow play
Overall good day golfing. Course in good not great shape, will continue to play. Got an excellent deal on a golf website. Pace of play only big concern, had to skip a hole to avoid continuous waiting, group in front wouldn’t let us go through. Need a way to monitor slow play & hold groups to an acceptable 18 hole time, especially if golfers are waiting

Aerated greens and rain
The course overall is in good shape. Fairway and some green-side bunkers have little sand, making shots out of them very difficult. Greens have ten-penny nail size holes but were not difficult to putt. Green-side rough provided major challenges in getting up and down.

Good for walkers

Greens have slowed down over the last 3 months and they are less pristine but very playable.
Course has suffered the usual summer heat damage but is still in good shape.

Subpar
I love the layout. Bunkers were full of water and some greens and Tboxes were beat up. Cart had poor brakes.

Great golf course East of not too far from Atl.
It’s a great course, but just needs to have some sand
in the bunkers.

No Carts
Had a 421 pm tee time. Arrived and was told there were no carts available and multiple people waiting ahead of us. Was told by club house attendant that alot of people came in without tee times and that is why the lack of carts. So what's the point of a tee time then?

Great round
Played early to beat rain. Rain night before course was in great shape. Some bunkers had water but that was ok due to heavy rain the night before.. fairway and greens in good shape. Will play again with no hesitation. They truly try to take care of course... great job to the employees...
