About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Loved it
Found a steal in Golf Now. Haven’t played here since the 90s and not much has changed regarding amenities. BUT the course was great! Took me back decades of how much I enjoyed playing this course. Already set 2 more rounds over next few weeks. A little more drive than usual, but worth it if a nice round of golf is all you’re looking for.

Enjoyed playing there. Great customer service a d couse is in very good shape. Also 1 cart per person is great... they clean them all the time..

Greenside traps excellent
Greens very fast (as usual). Lots of sand in the greenside bunkers. Fairway bunkers still thin. Overall excellent condition.

Faster and firmer Greens
Greens continue to be very fast, but the May dryness has made the greens firmer. Shots don’t stop after hitting the greens. Sand traps are still inconsistent. Some have a lot of sand; others have none. Overall the course is in very good shape considering the dryness.

Greens remain fast
Lightning fast greens. Excellent overall condition except for sand traps, which were inconsistent. Some had a lot of sand, others had little sand.

This course has quickly become one of my favorites to play.. it’s hard, but forgiving.. the whole place is beautiful and the staff from the clubhouse on are exceptional..

Solid course
Have played here many times. I often just walk on during the weekdays in the afternoon, but the course is way more crowded in these times of the virus. They are alternating tee times between walkers and riders, and the pace of play has slowed dramatically, as would be expected. The greens are improved and the bunkers are being renovated. I understand they should all be done in the next few weeks. That will help quite a bit.

Despite the spring weather the course was in relatively decent condition though the fairways were a little ragged. Greens were fast but true. Always enjoy playing MV.

No Mystery to Mystery Valley
Been playing Mystery Valley for years. Though there are rough spots on several holes, they focus on keeping the greens in good condition.

Course is Trash!
I used to play this couse when I was a kid in the early 90's. Please tell me why its 2020 and l absolutely nothing has be revamped. The staff is not friendly, when you walk it its like your going back in time. They put sand in thenbunkers where you drive to make you yhink the course is nice, but when you start playing all the other bunkers are mud and water. I paid $47 to play at a course that is not worth more than $20.
DO NOT PLAY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A HOT DEAL. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

Fast greens
Pace of play slow caused by frost delay and tournament delay. Greens remain fast, extremely so on downhill putts. Very good conditions for this time of year.
