Mystery Valley Golf Club

I'm not sure I want to advertise what a find this course it, lest it lose its attractiveness. This is a solid course and a great play for the money. It was in really good shape and easily accessible from the city.

Yesterday's round would have probably taken five and a half hours (minimum) if I hadn't quit after nine holes. This is why I seldom play Mystery Valley anymore. They make no attempt to keep golfers on pace. This is strictly a last resort as far as I am concerned.

This is a very good course and convenient to local golfers in the area.

Mystery valley has it all! There are some challenging holes and some easy ones where birdies are expected. There are more dogleg lefts than rights so your skill level is expected. Greens were perfect to putt on. Sand traps well placed so that the thoughtful player can plan an approach carefully. The cuts of the fairway are what a course should be. The signature hole, the 15th, is the right amount of challenge for any golfer. Great Course! Very well kept and managed.

Had a wonderful time playing a challenging course, a must play course to add to your list!

It might be a little crowded on the weekends but the MVC is a great value. Fun layout!

I've played several courses in Atlanta now, but I keep coming back to Mystery Valley. Nice layout--not too challenging off the tee, but demanding on approach shots--and nice people. And they allow walking, which I like.

Right now the course is in really nice shape for fall, with the exception of some bare tee boxes. But the greens are fast and smooth, and the fairways are in great shape. The rough is starting to go dormant, so it's not too penal. Very enjoyable experience.

This course offers enough for every golfer. It has every type of lie for the approach shots, the greens are in very good shape but tricky to read and putt. The course requires shaping of shots each direction off the tee. It has par 5's that will be reachable for the longer hitters and a couple that are an excellent challenge for the longest hitters. The large hardwood trees frame the holes and there is not a 'flat hole' on the course. I have played there twice during the week and each round was less than 3 hrs and 40 mins when there are groups on about every hole.

This was my first time at mystery valley and I was very impressed by the course. It was pretty challenging with a lot of narrow fairways and lots of hilly/slanted areas that you must take into consideration when placing your shots. They greens were in good shape but almost too fast in my opinion. The clubhouse is pretty run down but they have everything you need so I guess I cant complain too much. The carts were in great shape and had plenty of juice to get around the course in a timely manor. I'll be back for sure!

I always enjoy playing the course. The staff is great. Golf course is always well kept and manicured. Good price for a quality golf experience!

Good course to use your hole bag on...............

Course is in great shape. If you can find a deal, it's fantastic (played Thursday for $25). It's a municiple course, so. Not all players pay attention to pace rules, and ball marks are always present. But - for $30? No brainer - play here. Greens are true, fairways and rough always cut - bunkers maintained - overall a great course.

I love elevation changes on a golf course and this course has many cool holes with that. The main thing that any golf course has to had to be any good is good greens and these were pretty nice. I would love to play it some more.

Very enjoyable, playable, well maintained. Old fashioned, wide open layout nearly 40 years old now, back when they had lots and lots of land unrestricted by homesites. For a muni, it's a great golf experience and value for the (not much) money.

This is my new favorite course. It is challenging with well protected greens often surrounded by bunkers, yet the fairways are nice and wide. I'm pretty much still a beginner, yet have played 2 rounds with the same ball...unheard of for me.
