wonderful course everyboby has to play

This a great course and definitely worth the drive. Played on a weekday and there were no issues with pace of play. Course is in great shape.

1st time playing in over 11 years, like going down memory lane. Nothing has changed much except for the greens are much better.

First time playing this course and really enjoyed it. Course is in great shape. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even though we had to wait through a brief downpour the course held up well. Played with a fun twosome that made it even more enjoyable. Will definitely play this course again.

This course is pretty good for the money. The tee boxes need a little work on 1 and 8 and a couple others. If it had a bar area, I'd play there more often. Course is in decent shape. It's a fun tract.

Great course to play a round

Staff at the Proshop not welcoming unpon my arrival. Starter allowed a group to tee off 40 minutes prior to tee time(how I know? Glad you ask, a local was kindly enough to let me know when I announced by tee time). However, I sat an waited the next 20 minutes to tee off, no one, I mean no one had gone off; strike 2. Yet the starter stared at his tee sheet as if I wasn't there, strike 3. Another local appeared, his group a no show and I asked if, I asked if I could join him(Thanks Mr. Jack). The course itself, a good test of golf, greens are very fast and you best stay below the hole on almost all the holes. Dekalb County has done a great job of continued to work daily to keep this course in good shape. I recommend to overhaul the entire staff at the pro shop and the starter that worked April 07, 2016 AM. A nice course, however, I won't be back and even a great course can't save it from a horrible customer services in any business.

First time this year playing MV. The course is in very nice condition. Ball sits up nicely in fairway. Only one free need some work; its 16. Will return during summer.

My intent was always to play here, but never got around to it. Boy I'm glad I finally did...

Enjoyed the views of the course from my car as I traveled a winding road up to the clubhouse.

They have a very nice driving range and putting green.

The course definitely has character. Hilly terrain from tee to green. It has special beauty even tho the grass was still dormant and trees still without leaves late in the winter.

All I can say about the track is, ...strap yourself in early and get ready for a few holes that'll test your shot making ability. You get a handful of doglegs and some greens that are more slopped than you think. Water comes into play on a few holes and one that I found only after hitting my tee shot. After the initial shock and awe, you settle into the round like an old soft shoe.

The fairways were on the hard side even tho we've had an abundance of rain this winter. The greens were punched the week before, so putting was like playing Plinko at times. Despite that, I still give this old course high marks for layout, playability, and gorgeous landscape.

Club Pro/Staff was very friendly.

grumpy starter. tried to hurry us to the first tee we had 10min. before our tee time. then he said ill show you and we tee off 10min. later. greens had been aerator. no warning before i booked the tee time. price to high for aerator greens and don't hit any shots in the bunkers full of red clay and rocks.

I have only played this course twice, but for a public course, I thoroughly enjoy how the crew takes care of the greens here. For as much as it rained the week leading up to this past weekend, there were no apparent drainage issues. The clubhouse is old and tired, but the course is well maintained. A beautiful day, and a good course to start the 2016 golf season!

The price can get a little high but it is a good place to play.

We played the day after heavy rain and thunderstorms. MV is one of the best courses for drainage given the terrain and slope by Stone Mountain. The design will not wow you, but it is a solid course which can be testing at times. First timers will need to play more than once to get a feel for the layout. Par 5s are definitely scoring opportunities. Adam in the pro shop is excellent.

This is a great course. It's layout makes for a great day. I played it with everything dormant in a few weeks everything will be back green. Can't wait

Mystery valley has continued to hold high standards in caring for the course.
Weather was cold but fairways and greens played warm.
No complaints for this course.......A must play again and again..

Wide open - well maintained
The course is less challenging than others in the vicinity. However, its wide fairways and straightforward layout creates the need for consistency. I enjoyed the course and I only lost one ball. It was a good day!

I'm not sure I want to advertise what a find this course it, lest it lose its attractiveness. This is a solid course and a great play for the money. It was in really good shape and easily accessible from the city.
