The greens were horrendous. They just aerated But there was no notice to give me a heads up.

Great Course We enjoyed everything the greens were fast you had to stay below the hole if you wanted a decent score overall my buddies also enjoyed it as well it was there first time out there and it whip all our butts But we’ll all be back.also we hope they keep all 18 holes

Was pretty excited to play this course for $45 on a Sunday. It was a letdown from a course conditions standpoint. Fairways barely have grass. Course is pretty bland with most holes dead straight. There are a few tight fairways and multiple bunkers around the greens to make it challenging. We got out at 10am and played in 4 hours, which was great. I’m guessing the church crowd hadnt made it out yet because by the time we finished at 2p course was overcrowded. Staff was very polite. Now issues there. Doesn’t seem worth the 45 minute drive from Buckhead, however. I’ll stick with Cherokee Run or Ashton hill for similar prices and much better conditions.

Course was in good shape overall , fairways still had a little crabgrass probably from all the rain we had earlier In the year abd could not get properly treat the fairways. Greens were fast as always and very good shape.

Outstanding layout, Challenging but not out reach, let's face we are not pro's but this course will make you get better. Greens very fast uphill or downhill, Speed is important

The course was in great conditions the greens were fast and roll true fairways were in good shape also two tee boxes as well I would recommend this course.

Greens are fast and in great shape. I feel we need to wait until spring to fairly rate fairways

I have lived in the Dekalb/Gwinnett area all my life and finally played this course. It is an old style course with subtle breaks in the greens, not the monster breaks and ridges in newer courses. Despite all the rain we've had, the greens were hard and running fast. Not lightning fast but fast. The fairways were not in great shape as it was still winter and there was a lot of crab grass. I was in 2 sand traps but both had plenty of sand and were well groomed. The staff was friendly and courteous and gave my twosome 2 carts due to social distancing.

The course was in great shape for this time of year. The greens were rolling fast and true.

Greens and traps are in average condition but the fairways are overrun with crabgrass. Potential to be a great course but needs work ASAP!

All the fairway covered weed and crab grass, terrible grass condition.

The course is average to below average. The greens were okay. The tee boxes were okay and the fairways were terrible. There was crab grass on every fairway. The fairways are not well kept. I would not go back to this course.

I’ll start this out by saying I know it’s still the middle of winter. Just about every single fairway was full of crabgrass. Some to the point there were very few spots of dormant grass. You were better off hitting your ball into the rough since it was cleaner! I really can’t say much about standing water in the fairways since we’ve been clobbered with a lot of rain recently. The ground can’t absorb any more. The greens were in good condition but were very, very fast. Even putting uphill you stood the chance of running a couple feet past the hole.

Based on the current conditions it definitely wasn’t worth the fees they were charging. Hopefully they will get it under control once it warms up. It’s normally a great course.

Layout of the course was appealing and requires variety of shots required off the tee or into the greens. Bunkers were in poor condition and none were raked by maintenance. Greens rolled true and in overall good condition with the exception of a few spots. Ball marks were also numerous and didn’t seem like the others groups playing ahead were repairing their own.

I got there early and hit some balls at the range. One of the members invited me to play with his threesome. What a great bunch of guys to play with. They really made the round extremely enjoyable. I thought some of the holes were extremely difficult if you did not hit it straight. You did not want to be above the hole or on the side of the hole for putting. Below the hole was perfect.

The greens were quick and smooth. The fairways were in great shape. The rough was tough.

I live in Loganville, GA and play golf in the area at least once a week. I have played all of the golf courses within a 25 mile radius of my house, but had never played Summit Chase. I had driven by it hundreds of times and to be honest it didn't look too impressive from the road. That all changed when me and a buddy played the course this morning. Showed up at the course and the guy at the register was super friendly. I asked how much for a bucket of range balls and he smiled and said that comes with the round of golf to my surprise. I don't generally see that a whole lot at the golf courses around here. I went to the driving range and the grass that I was hitting off of was immaculate. I was very impressed so far. We started off on hole number one and I was surprised at how well the course looked. The fairways were mowed perfectly and looked great. The rough was perfectly kept also. The greens are what really blew me away. They rolled so pure and were so well manicured it reminded me of playing on a course that you would pay in the hundreds. The front nine was great, relatively a flat layout with some challenging shots. Keep it straight off the tees. We made the turn after grabbing a bite to eat (which was perfect) and the back nine was like we were playing a completely different course. Lots of hills with great views and stones creeping up through the grass. It was absolutely beautiful and once again the greens were fabulous. I felt like kicking myself in the butt for never playing this course previously. I will be back many times from here on out. Great job Summit Chase!! $45 dollars of well spent money!! VISIT THIS COURSE!!!!!!!!!
