Golfer Reviews
Great Design but has Maintenace issues
The tees, fairways and greens were in good conditions. The greens were on the slow side especially uphill putts. The fringes of the rough and the cart paths need maintenance. Roots have upended the cart paths in many locations and rough has turned into dirt. The sand traps were not maintained with grass growing in them and the traps' borders unkempt.
Golf
Fairways and greens were in good shape. Enjoyed my round of golf
Good course. Bad staff
People teed off whenever they wanted, with nobody to dictate starting times. Every whole was backed up - at one point we had four groups on one hole. Then at the end, the cart staff started spraying the cart while my partner and I were still packing up. Decent course, horrible staff.
Greens are you great shape
Greens are the best part of this course. They are in great shape considering drought conditions for the area. But with the lack of rain there is a lot of hard surface in the fairway and tight lies. With the price you can’t complain too much. If you are not familiar with the course lay out bring a few extra balls. If your ball goes in the tree line or bushes it’s unlikely you will find it. There are some house along the course so you have to be careful not to go in someone yard. There are a few do not trespass signs so I was hesitant to go in someone yard to retrieve a wayward ball. After we past a groups that seem to not care about to 90 plus degree heat we finished in about 3 and 1/2 hours including going back to play the two holes we skipped. Not bad we enjoyed our round.
Solid course
Solid course but no turn so expect a long day. Definitely bring drinks and snack.
Great value
BYOB, food, and water. Other than that, this course gives you overall great value. Fairways and greens were better than expected. Tee boxes are definitely in rough shape though. Will be keeping this one on the list to play again.
Tough Conditions
No turn for food, water, or bathroom breaks. Course was played very slow, course marshals just interfered and did not enforce the pace of play.
Course was very dry and had lots of rocks all over, even in the fairway. It is not well maintained.
