Great first impression… Not so much the second! Played the course a couple weeks ago by myself with a great pace of play. My son and I went out last week and it was ridiculously slow. We skipped four holes and it still took 4 1/2 hours To finish! The clubhouse in the course itself has great character!

Staff in particular did not make us feel welcome. The morning we played the staff member at the club was not interested in the slightest. We were not made to feel welcome, he didn’t even ask if it was the first time we had played the course. The club house is dirty. I wouldn’t play there again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Even the staff around the course were miserable and didn’t even speak or look at us for that matter. Not a good experience overall.

I played this course in late ‘90’s when it was a jewel. Then saw it in a disappointing mess in the following years. It seems this course could return to it former state, with a little love and a lot of money put into it. I’ll return to play and chip in on it’s come back!

Everything was great except the green.

Didn't cut the green and too slow.

If they maintain the green well, I would recommand to everybody.

Ther course is laid out very good and challenging.

Want to go back if the green is good.

Overall the courses are not bad, but found bare spots on the fairways and the greens were somewhat bumpy.

I wanted to play at the course for the second time. As I suspected, the course layout is rather challenging at best ... The pace of playing was slower as usual. There's no range mater to push people along with the pace... Two players should not waited by a 4-player in almost every hole that we played. Unfortunately, the 2-player team did not allow us (4-player) to play through...

I will not be playing this course again. Hard to find real fairway grass anywhere on the course, most bunkers did not have ANY sand, tee boxes were sand/dirt mixtures at best, course layout was crazy, greens are tiny, clubhouse is cluttered and nasty.

The layout of this course was nice - good elevation and contours. Creative design. Pamphlet on course (given at pro-shop) was first rate. Parts of the course and also the driving range had little grass. Given it had rained heavily the night before, the course was rather muddy in many places. The pro-shop warned that greens were very fast. I found just the opposite, they were very slow, but generally in good shape. This was my first time playing the course and it's probable that in another 6 weeks the grass would fill in making for better play, but my impression was one of a not too well manicured course and a tight operations budget. Not a bad value for the money, though.

Staff is friendly and the greens are in great shape.

Green fees are very reasonable at this no-frills golf club and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Layout is really nice and from the tips it can be a real challenge. Great place to go if you’re not too fussy about having luxury amenities and you just want a good place to get a round of golf!

I’m not sure what I expected, but played recently on the first nice Saturday. Course was PACKED with very slow pace. Spent 4 hours to do 13 holes. That being said, great course, very fun, challenging, and well maintained.

This probably used to be a pretty great course. Unfortunately, the course has fallen into disrepair a bit. We had to wait about 20 mins for a cart and the course pace-of-play was very slow. They could use more staff and rangers. Also, bring your own snacks as there is no kitchen or cart attendant.

To be a golf course in the African American Community it is a very good golf course they really should rename it Andy's course cuz he makes the golf club what it is.

Is an exelent course but this time was extrenmly wet.
