About

The 27-hole course at Schaumburg Golf Club is divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations that range from just over 6,000 yards to 6,700 yards. The Tournament, Baer, and Players Courses all provide a unique set of challenges but they share the same great conditions on their tees, greens, and fairways. Schaumburg has been host to numerous events since opening in 1928, including the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments. It is a popular course since the club offers country club amenities and quality with the affordability of a public golf course. Schaumburg's Players/Baer combination starts out with a few tricky carries over water on the front nine and a more forgiving back nine. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout the course, however.

One of the best municipal courses nearby

Beautiful course thats extremely well maintained. A regular go to for me and my friends. Price is on the higher end with a cart, but it's on par with other courses. Would definitely recommend for everyone

Best Public Course in the Area

Schaumburg golf club is in pristine condition for early in the season. The tee boxes are soft, clean, level. Fairways are as well. Greens are tricky and fast. With tough pin positions. Driving range when its grass is cut very well just like the fairways. It's not a very long course even from tips, no matter what pair of nines you play. All carts are equipped with GPS and are newish. If you're a resident the rates for us are pretty good for how well the golf facility is. Highly Recommend to play. The nicest course around the surrounding cities

Course is well managed and walkable

I loved the challenge of the Players 9 and the Bauer 9 was a refresher from HS Golf. Course is very easy to walk and has well placed hazards to make you think about club selection. Shot a 77 on the first 18 of the year
