About
The 27-hole course at Schaumburg Golf Club is divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations that range from just over 6,000 yards to 6,700 yards. The Tournament, Baer, and Players Courses all provide a unique set of challenges but they share the same great conditions on their tees, greens, and fairways. Schaumburg has been host to numerous events since opening in 1928, including the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments. It is a popular course since the club offers country club amenities and quality with the affordability of a public golf course. Schaumburg's Players/Baer combination starts out with a few tricky carries over water on the front nine and a more forgiving back nine. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout the course, however.

Course was in good shape. Smooth play, no backups. Well done on the courses recent renovations. Great overall experience.
Course in great shape
Ventured out while others waited for weather to completely clear. GREAT decision—no wait at all. Finished in well less than 4 hours.

Schaumburg Golf Club
Schaumburg GC is a nice course, a good test for all and in good condition. One of their 3 mines is under repair and not open for play so be aware if you’re looking for 27. The 18 holes that are open are very good.
The practice range is solid and the clubhouse , pro-shop and Chandlers restaurant are first class. The staff is great!

Finally, some decent greens
Schaumburg CC is generally in good shape, the greens were considerably better than the courses I have played lately. They ran true with some decent speed, not as fast as normal here but pretty good. The rough was brutal, didn't look like it had been cut for some time. Finding balls was very difficult and it was definitely a penalty to be in it. Our group of 4 lost 6 balls that we should have been able to find. Pace was good, just over 4 hours on a holiday. I would play here every day on a hot deal with 25% off.

Good course, horrible pace of play
Solid course for the price, conditions are always above average and it’s a challenging layout. The problem this course has is the pace of play. It’s up there with the worst in the area. 5 hour round yesterday. I will not be going back

My favorite course in Chicago northwest suburbs
Chicago has many nice suburban golf courses. My favorite in the Northwest suburbs is Schaumburg Golf Club. Course conditions are always excellent. Of their three nine hole courses, the Tournament/Baer combination has been my favorite but that could change as they are currently in the process of renovating their nine hole courses. The Players course renovation is near completion with Baer course renovation coming up next. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The clubhouse has excellent bar, restaurant and banquet facilities. I always enjoy playing at Schaumburg Golf Club.
Good Shape/Pace
Saturday 2:20 time w/my wife we had no concerns about sunlight once we got going. Done in <4 hrs. The Starter was helpful in getting us out 10 minutes earlier than our scheduled tee time.
We play this course 4-6 times/year. Convenient. Always in good shape. Just gotta use GN to get a fair price. They can be pricey at times.
Course worth $33-weekdays & $40 on weekend.
Schaumburg is always a great place to play. Staff is excellent, pace of play is just right, and the course is always in great shape.

Country club conditions on a municipal course
Schaumburg Golf club is by far the best kept course on the northwest side.
