About
Cantigny Golf boasts 27 holes of scenic and challenging golf. The holes are divided into three nines that are named after the features of the landscape: Lakeside, Hillside, and Woodside. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Hillside/Woodside course features plenty of elevation changes as well as an abundance of hardwoods, mature oaks, and ash trees. More than 100,000 flowers provide a colorful accent to the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers border the undulating greens and there are also a few water hazards coming into play. All three courses provide a challenging round but they are playable for a range of skill levels. It is an excellent place for tournaments. In the past it has been host to the US Amateur Public Links and numerous USGA qualifiers. It is also a good place for juniors with a golf academy and a nine-hole youth links golf course.

Never get to finish
I’ve played this course many times and only finished twice. The pace of play is always remarkably slow. Today was an exceptionally slow one (relative to many others in the past). After 3 holes, I was done. The staff was very accommodating with a rain check.
Just know that on weekends, you might be in for a 5hr+ round.
Best Greens
The course was in great shape and the greens were the best greens I played this year.
The course has some very challenging holes.
The staff was very friendly.
Not enough bang for your buck
I never get a wow effect when playing this course. $120.00 to play... personally I think they are a $75.00 golf course tops... several other courses in the area charging way less with better or same course conditions... I'd take my money down the road to Arrowhead or Schaumburg Golf Club before giving these guys $120.00 again... course was over watered, mud balls all day... bunkers are below average... greens shaggy and slow... they need to verdicut and groom the greens.

Beautiful course, great staff!!
We dont play here very often as price is high when 2 people play frequently. The staff is super friendly, amenities are nice (even though didnt take much advantage due to COVID 19), pro shop has nice quality merchandise. Will play again.
I love this place
What a gorgeous piece of land. Conditions were fantastic. This place has tons of staff comprised mostly of high school kids. Everyone one of them was cheery and eager to help. Also, one of the few courses that actually monitors pace of play which I deeply appreciate. I will return often!

Beautiful Layout
I loved the golf facilities the range, pro shop, and halfway house were all amazing. The course was well kept besides the Bunkers they were very subpar most of the time it felt like you were hitting in clay. For the amount you spend on the course its worth playing it once. I wouldn’t return until they fix the bunkers.
A Top Course in the Midwest
I played 15 rounds at Cantigny Golf Club this past season with 10 rounds with the Friday Night Men's Competitive League.
The layouts are different, challeging and top notch conditions well maintained.
The staff are all friendly, accomodating and helpful.
Excellent experience
This place is a gem. Staff is friendly and helpful. The course is fair and not cookie cutter. Will definitely be back.
Cantigny - Lakeside
Just beautiful this October day. They had aerated the greens just a week prior and they still were already in good shape. Challenging and stunning course.
