Love this course. The winding-through-homes layout is a blast to play. Many elevated/downhill greens and hilly challenging terrain. Greens were fast and in nice shape. Grassed filled sand traps were unique and there were a few bad fairways. For the price you pay, it’s a killer deal. Bonus is the 19th hole area. Mi Hee and her staff are awesome hosts - love them!
Very Slow but in Decent Shape
A really slow group went out before us and it took over an hour to finish the first three holes. No Marshall. Starter let us come back to the start and play the back 9 instead which was nice. Greens in good shape considering aeration, if you get a hot deal its worth the money just don't expect a fast round.
Crusty verde
Ok course, fairways are in bad shape, 1st cart ran out of power and the replacement cart had to be pushed in with another cart the las 1/4 mile - this has also happened to me before playing here
Employees drive balls over your head
If you want employees hitting balls to you to speed you up, and even drive balls over your head this is the place for you.
Started to love this course, right by home, but had 2 incidents where their employees were on us as we played. Didn’t even get to our cart yet after walking off the green as they hit balls up to the green.
Then finally was hit by them with a ball, but they complained about me throwing their ball. As we still offered them a new ball and to play on they said no and wanted to hit balls at us. Finally as we were on the fairway they drive a ball over our heads. With all my energy, I withheld from handling it with fist, and went to the club house. Spoke with the manager on the phone was really nice comped our game and offered to comp next visit to make right. BUT when she found out we haven’t spent enough money, she called me back and said she couldn’t justify why she yelled at her employees and why she is even comping my “Weekend tee time” HA this place is a joke. And unless you plan on playing here more then twice a week you will not get treated with respect.
Good value
Small fast greens... worth the money...great for beginners and the experienced.
Solid band for your buck
Overall I give it 5 stars. The layout is a ton of fun with de/elevated greens and challenging terrain. Greens were also fast and in good shape. Grassed in sand traps and a few bad fairways were a blemish, but for the price it’s a killer deal.
Very SLOW Sunday Golf
I enjoy playing Cresta Verde but it’s a “hit and miss”
This Sunday was so flow we quit on the 13th hole.
