Paradise Valley Golf Course
About
Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

Rangers outright refused to enforce pace of play. We teed of at 11:30 and by 3:15 had only finished 11 holes. Our group called the pro shop from the 5th tee box as we noticed the entire sixth hole was empty and the 7th tee as well with the group in front of us deliberately slow playing and hitting more than one ball per player. The pro shop said they'd send someone out. Nothing happened. We then randomly ran into a ranger later on the 8th hole who we thought had just spoke with the slow group and when we asked him if he had said anything he told us he wasn't aware they were behind. He reluctantly drove over and spoke with the slow group but they only sped up for 2 holes before the extra shots started to come back. There is zero reason a course should be backed up on a rainy Friday in January unless the staff just doesn't care. An absolute joke
Great place to enjoy golf!
Paradise Valley always a challenge and always fun! The golf course is maintained perfectly! I enjoyed the putting greens that require a masters stroke! I enjoyed the company of new friends and get your competitive juices flowing! Looking forward to playing again with my new friends!
Very rundown course
Dirt patches everywhere, weeds in grass everywhere, littered cans and bottles. Front nine is semi-descent but the back nine is horrendous. Not sure why this course has such high reviews. Don’t pay over $20 for this course. Definitely worth it under that price but go with the lowest expectations as possible.
fearsome foursome
PLAYED WITH THREE GREAT TALENTED GOLFERS THAT MADE IT THAT MUCH MORE CHALLENGING AND ENJOYABLE. COURSE DRYING OUT FOR THE COMING WINTER BUT STILL IN GREAT SHAPE. JUST FUN TO PLAY.
Fairfield Paradise Valley.
Flat and challenging course with great par 3 and two elevated tee boxes throughout.
Great combination to have in your backyard.
Prevailing winds down and No breeze today meant low scores and good conditions.
7000 yards plus from tips feels normal here.
What I notice are carts not designated for driving close to greens though late in the day it seems that’s the case. Make em walk if they want to drive that close to greens with December softer conditions. Or else keep an eye out for them that late and keep em in line? Just my two cents. Keep your course conditions optimal as it’s a good course that others can disrespect and shouldn’t.
4 stars. And consistently 4/5. Go play.
Wow! Outstanding for a muni. Good course, fair and challenging in good shape tee to green.
Fun layout, scenic, and in amazing shape!
Loved my day at this course! It's a fun layout and in great shape. I can't wait to come back and play the sister course, Rancho Solano.
The course is in excellent condition and staff is very friendly. The pace of play was excellent as well.
Living in its sibling’s shadow
It’s a fine course, but since rancho solano is nearby, and the rates are generally the same, there’s really no need to come here. Conditions and layout are both considerably lower quality than rancho, but otherwise it’s a fine golf course.
Living in it's sibling's shadow
This isn't a bad course at all, but for the same price, I can go across the freeway to the sister course Rancho Solano and get a better deal. If Paradise Valley was the only course in the area, I believe it would be a great option. As it is however, there's no reason to choose this over Ranco... Conditions are better, and the layout is much more memorable.
Great Shape
Played on a Monday. 4 hr 15 min round. Course is in great shape. Greens are fast and smooth. Enjoyed our round today.
Slow pace and Marshall’s not doing much
The pace was brutal. Marshall’s not doing anything about it at all. Finally the beverage cart person moved the guys ahead of us.
