Paradise Valley Golf Course
About
Paradise Valley Golf Course was voted the top course in Solano County and it is considered one of the best values in the North Bay area. Mature oaks line the fairways and meandering creeks wander across the course, coming into play on nine holes. It is a good course for walkers but it is still quite a challenge from the back tees. Club selection and ball placement are equally important. Paradise Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the par-5 10th. It requires a trio of accurate shots beginning with a well placed tee shot just short of the lake that sets you up for the second shot. You will have to make it past a ravine and a massive oak tree in order to make it to the green, which is protected by both sand and grass bunkers.

Wow! Outstanding for a muni. Good course, fair and challenging in good shape tee to green.
Fun layout, scenic, and in amazing shape!
Loved my day at this course! It's a fun layout and in great shape. I can't wait to come back and play the sister course, Rancho Solano.
The course is in excellent condition and staff is very friendly. The pace of play was excellent as well.
Living in its sibling’s shadow
It’s a fine course, but since rancho solano is nearby, and the rates are generally the same, there’s really no need to come here. Conditions and layout are both considerably lower quality than rancho, but otherwise it’s a fine golf course.
Living in it's sibling's shadow
This isn't a bad course at all, but for the same price, I can go across the freeway to the sister course Rancho Solano and get a better deal. If Paradise Valley was the only course in the area, I believe it would be a great option. As it is however, there's no reason to choose this over Ranco... Conditions are better, and the layout is much more memorable.
Great Shape
Played on a Monday. 4 hr 15 min round. Course is in great shape. Greens are fast and smooth. Enjoyed our round today.
Slow pace and Marshall’s not doing much
The pace was brutal. Marshall’s not doing anything about it at all. Finally the beverage cart person moved the guys ahead of us.
Good Weekday Hot Deal
Packed with many foursomes but after the first two holes every group spread out and pace was great. Finished within 4hrs on a very busy day. Course conditions were great. Greens rolled true and fairways were well kept. Unlike most municipal courses... Paradise's fairways had grass throughout and was well groomed. Tee boxes were good but had several unrepaired divots. We were following a player that routinely made 1ft long pelts on the tee box and left them unrepaired and unsanded EVERYTIME! Other than that (unrelated to the course) inconsideration, all controllable aspects were good. Prepare to be challenged by moving greens and some undulating fairways. Definitely coming back!
Good Value for the money
Were it not for the slow play, this would have been a perfect golf day.
Solid value
Greens were almost as good as Diablo Creek or Chardonnay. Staff and facilities great. Great layout. Appreciate the day. Would very much recommend to good players.
Great layout
I haven’t played the course in a couple of years but glad I did had a great time nice layout still challenging even from the whites tough but fair greens great conditions and great weather
Course in great shape one day after rain
this course is mostly flat but makes up for that by the layout that makes you think about your shots.
Great Course, Best Value
Played when greens were punched and got a good rate, but they were still in pretty good shape. Everything else, box, fairway, bunkers were great. The course is fun, the layout is great. Lots of poison oak though, so if you catch a ball in the woods you're better off dropping that chancing a look.
Well maintained
Course very well maintained and good pace. Nice course and also practice areas. Will be coming back
Completely Underrated
100 percent the best bang for your buck course in Solano County. The course is ALWAYS in great shape. If for some reason there is a trouble spot on the course the grounds crew mark it off right away. The course is fun, the layout is great, there's no quirky or gimmicky holes. HOWEVER... this course has TEETH. You need to be in the right spot or you will be taking your medicine. You can play from the whites one day and play from the tipps on the replay and get a completely different experience. I am not exaggerating when I say Paradise has the hardest Par 3's around
They have a top notch driving range, a fantastic putting green (that actually matches on course conditions), a chipping area with a bunker. The ONLY knock on the practice facility is the chipping green is astroturf. Chris and Sam are the heart and soul of the place.
The sister course, Rancho Solano, is fantastic as well but, Paradise is woefully underrated.
Slow play
The Marshall was kind enough to inform us of the slow players ahead of us. However, he did nothing about the two groups that were each a hole behind.
