Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

Course in need of some TLC
This was our first round of our vacation week. This course works well for high handicappers who are looking for a lower range price point
Golf course etiquette was lacking as golfers drove carts on tee boxes and par 3's. No Marshalls to enforce basic cart rules.
Fairways and tee boxes need some attention. Course layout overall was good
We were a twosome however pace of play was on par at 4 1/2 hours
Challenging Layout inNeed of Water
A fair challenge under very dry conditions. Front 9 greens appear to be fighting to stay alive, back nine in somewhat better condition. This is our second visit and the staff cannot be more friendly. Compared to other local < $40 green fees, can't complain. A significant shortage of bunker rakes seems unusual for a course with so many bunkers. Current conditions will give you lots of roll but beware of the trouble you might roll into!
Good Value but Needs Work
Overall course layout is great. Wide fairways with lots of water to contend with. Fairways ok but hard. Biggest disappointment was the greens. Front nine was especially bad. Back nine much better. Pace of play was good with front nine played in 2 hours. Back was slow for some reason at almost 3 hours. We plan to return since the green fees are some of lowest in area.
Jim from Kentucky
Second time out. Was paired with 3 others, form N. Carolins, Mich., and NY. Had a great time and weather was perfect. Will play again. I recommend it to others.
Decent Course at the right price - $35-$38
We needed a "close to the hotel" course for this date and selected Hunter's Creek. The tee blocks were very thin, bunkers shallow and very inconsistent, fairways reasonable, greens rolled a bit slow and several had some real poor areas. The layout was pretty nice and course was fairly easy. I'd recommend this course, but a price level of no more than $35-$38 - I paid way too much for the value I expect.
greens terrible
The layout is good but the T areas and greens were terrible.
Took 5 hrs to play as well. no marshals on course.
The score card yardage and the t marker yardage were not the same so parr 3 was a guess in some cases.
Slow play, tough course
The course layout is very nice, attractive. There is plenty of challenge with water and sand, but fairways and most greens need improvement. Our pace of play was slow (over 5 hours).
Greens need work
Nice course but the greens are in need of work.
Challenging tee and fairway opportunities and plenty of hazards to keep you interested
terrible grooming
This course has a great lay out and if it was maintained it could be a really nice track. Fairways are in terrible conditions and the greens are worse. Would not play this gain.
Good for the money
We played late in the day and got a great rate. Finished in 3 and a half hours, just before dark. Will play here again, hopefully the greens will be a little better.
Good Course Layout
I enjoyed playing this course. Played it last year. Both years my wife was attending a work conference in Orlando. I like the layout and I play it well. This year there were some greens with bad areas and the greens were heavy with sand while they were working on the greens.
Mean greens
The course was in decent shape but very dry, which we were told is normal for this time of the year. However, the greens were in very rough condition. Some of the holes were completely burned around the edges and looked like they hadn't been moved in weeks. Other greens were just plain burned out and terrible. We had a good time but they need some serious help with the greens. Otherwise a nice track.
Needs work
The fairways were okay but the greens and greenside bunkers left a lot to be desired.
Finally a review that is spot on. I have played this course recently and agree with every aspect of this rating.
