Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

Great value for the money
The layout is very interesting with a variety of holes, they were challenging enough for my first game of the season. The greens were a lot slower than I am accustomed to but consistent.
There was a slower group a head and we waited a few minutes for about 5 holes overall ; but not intolerable.
Overall a good day.
Slow day, poor scheduling
Tees were bad, greens marginal, fairways ok. Starter inserts players ahead of those making the turn which results in a 5 1/2 hour round.
Decent Layout but too many negatives
Pace of play was over 5hrs, tee off was late, there are no rakes in any bunkers so they all look like a war zone, greens have heavy sand on them and the fairways have lots of bare ground..
Nice layout and understand they are working on the greens but for heavens sake what excuse is there for no rakes in the bunkers and the ones that were there were half rakes or had the handles split.
Terrible Greens
The greens were in terrible condition. Should have suspected it from the practice green.
Course needs some TLC
Played last week and was surprised at the terrible conditions on the greens. Between the damage from fungus, lawn mower oil drips, ball mark damage it was really a mess. The traps were not sand as more like dirt. It's been a while since I've played there, and it will be a while until I go back.
Course is acceptable
Pace of play was great. The course was pretty busy because it was perfect golf weather. Fairways provided very tight lies. No grass between the club and the ball. Many tees were very uneven and chewed up. Greens rolled nicely except every hole had a raised bump around it. Speed putts down hills or across big breaks would veer off in the last 2 to 3 inches. Every hole and the practice green.
Failing Conditions
For some reason, management and the superintendent can't keep this course in excellent condition. Within the last two months, the greens have deteriorated to what is now really bad shape. I'm beginning wonder why this course isn't getting the attention that some other of the Integrity managed courses get. In November, MetroWest was in horrible shape. I met the new super this past week and noted that in the two months since his arrival, that course has been returned to superb condition. Why not Hunter's Creek. I think it's probably time for a change of superintendent and/or manager. The course has run out of scorecards again. Thats twice in the past three months. And there still are very few rakes around the course, so the condition of most of the bunkers is poor at best. The course is disappointing, and I can not currently recommend it for play.
Snow Bird in Paradise
Price was great and this is a great golf course. It has some areas that could use some attention, tee boxes!
Great round of golf
Loved the setup of the course, holes were challenging and the golf now rates were excellent. Definitely play the course again.
Beware of the fog
A nice course but our 7:45 tee time was affected by fog that lingered for most of the front 9.
Back 9 greens were us better condition than front 9.
Good range
Nice layout
Having read quite a few contradictory reviews, I can understand why...
The course layout is fun and interesting and there are numerous sets of tees to challenge any level of
player. All good.
However, very sparse grass in fairways and rough, greens not in the best of shape on some holes, no rakes in bunkers,
no bathrooms that we saw on the course and no water to drink. All this makes for a somewhat disappointing venue.
The price was reasonable for what it is....
Like the layout. Challenging. Greens need lots of work, but improving
Challenging course with lots of water. Greens are in need of improvements, but it is clear they are working on them.
Another Integrity Golf Management Company disaster
The course was in poor condition with many greens in horrible shape. One box was only dirt. I will not play there again until the course is in better shape. It has a nice plastic layout with undulating greens that at times can be challenging. Unfortunately the course was in terrible condition
Good course for the price
Course was in average condition. Pace of play was good. Greens were good and quick. Played with a couple of players. They were great and we all had a good time. Will play again.
