Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

Depends on what you pay...
For $12 including cart, I would recommend this course. They tee boxes need some serious tlc, but other than that the course is in pretty good condition. Some bare spots on the greens, but pin positions were away from them.
Hunters Creek
Really enjoyed this course.
If the back it's a great test. Holes are varied and wind through mostly nice properties. Greens were not quick but true and fair.
Great value for money, would recommend a visit.
Great
Excellent value !! Great course and has a good level of challenge!! Go play
Nice course
Had family in town & wanted to play a course that was reasonable & in good shape. This course had both & was a great day on the course!
Great location
The greens are in good condition and normal putting speed , fairways are narrow but not difficult.
I will recommend this course to all levels golfers.
Terrible Customer Service
Where do I start? I have been playing this course for years and found out they are recently under new management and it shows!! Not in a good way by any means.
First of all, for years they have been trying to get me into their loyalty program which is called "The Creek Card." I have never got it but a few weeks ago I was going to play there and decided to get the card, but they explained that under new management they have decided not to sell them anymore. Ok I can understand that, if you are under new management and you don't want to honor them, fine.
The real issue is the day I played. Upon the turn, I proceeded to the clubhouse to order some food. I was first told that since I was on the turn I cannot order from the regular menu, I can only choose from two items (they obviously wanted to speed me up). After ordering a hot dog, turkey sandwich, 2 gatorades and 4 cans of beer, I was handed a bill for $52!! Which is absurd for that amount of food. Even the bartender agreed it was a lot, but nevertheless I paid it.
They handed me a bag of Lays chips with my sandwich meal. They grabbed them from a rack that had a few other type of chips on there. I don't eat potato chips so I asked the bartender if I can switch them for sun chips. Her response was..."you are not allowed to do that because the sun chips bag could be a little bigger than the Lays bag." Seriously!!!!!! After $50 per round (the course should be in a lot better shape for that price) and $52 for a coupe of sandwiches and a few beers, they can't let me swap a .25 cents bag of chips for another .25 cents bag of chips? I was appalled. To make it worse, a manager came out from an office and heard the whole thing and said nothing.
When the bartender handed me that turkey sandwich, she moved the mayonnaise my way and said "put some mayo cause these sandwiches are really dry." That's really what I want to hear after being ripped off for the food, that it is dry and bad on top of it!!
Are they that hard up that they are counting pennies like this? Not a good sign for things to come at this course with this new management company. I am highly disappointed and will not return here because of this.
What disappoints more than anything is that I sent them an email so they can try to at least take accountability and not one response! Tells me everything I need to know about how the new management company intends to do business.
No thanks, I am gladly driving farther to play at other courses now.
nice track. ......great value
Good track. Back nine has condos along some of the faiways which are not intrusive, however had kids running out on the course at one time. But overall the track will test your abilty. Played back tees over 7000 yards but has plenty of options for all levels.
Decent,fun and improving.
I was a little worried when I drove up and noticed the landscaping to the club entrance was literally all weeds. That's not a good first impression or a good look when you're next to such nicely landscaped neighborhoods. The course condition was pretty decent considering the over seed transition period. Most of the greens and fairways were good. The bunkers and rough need a little work. Very weak yardage markers. Perhaps adding GPS to the course APP would help promote more downloads, speed up play and solve the poor yardage marker issue. Good location, nice layout, fun course and Efficient Staff.
Stay away
Had an 8am tee time they forgot to mention they had a mini tournament going out prior to 8am. Needless to say you had tons of people waiting to tee off. When I asked the starter about my status he informed me that he didn't know because his tee sheet just had single names on it as oppose to groups. I don't blame the starter because he has to maintain the carts, pick up the range balls, wash the clubs, etc. They have a course that is packed with golfers and they only have 2 employees. I have been playing this course for 18 years and have yet to see a ranger during this time. That is why the pace of play is terrible. I go there every week and rarely do I see the same employees behind the counter. I think Celebration GC bought this course, but has no intention of making things better. Needless to say I asked for a refund and left. Thanks Celebration for letting a course that was once one of the top 75 courses in the country turn into this.
Love this course
Always enjoy playing Hunter's Creek. The course was in very good shape, the greens rolled true. I will definitely be back!
Dog day afternoons
Beware afternoon rounds. No ranger no starter. Mostly two-somes. Surprise $2 environmental fee at the register. I don't mind paying it, just add it to the price advertised. Greens have a lot of sand on them currently. No water provided around the course that I could see. I guess you get what you pay for.
Nice getaway
Refreshing break from the busier and far more expensive courses in the orlando area. Straight forward golf-great for a tune up or maybe just to make you feel a little better about golf after playing poorly for 2 days prior.
Reasonable and fun for average golfer
Enjoyed Hunters Creek. A wonderful value. Would recommend for average weekend golfer
It's okay... better as a practice course
Course scheduling at times can be challenging. Seems like not enough spacing in between. No starter really (even though they say there is a guy) but you rarely can find him when you start. Using GolfNow doesn't matter... they still want you to pay the full (not less the $2 you paid). ..that's not a big deal but you just expect them to honor that relationship. Staff is cold and luke warm... some days friendly ...others I question why I come back. But overall I use this course to practice... no need to drive from far away to play this course... just stick to your local one..
I've played better courses
Had. family come down from up North and met them after driving from Tampa. Had to ask for extra range balls for a foursome. Did not see any range markers out on the course and only found three ball washers. Pace of play was average with no major delays. Am sure I can find a better course with lower rates than Hunters Creek.
Good play, Good day
It was a great day of golf, weather was with us and the Greens and fairways were in very good shape,
You get what you pay for.
My Father and Brothers were visiting on vacation, they don't get the chance to play as often as I do, but it was a special occasion for us to all get out together. We got what we thought was a good deal on a twilight round only to have the sprinklers end our round 4 holes early. Staff was very unfriendly and didn't show a bit of remorse that even though we still had daylight, we couldn't use the tee boxes or greens. Thanks for putting a solid damper on what should have been a great day.
As a local who is familiar with the many other choices in the area, I will not be back.
Nice course to start or end the week on
We usually use this course as a tune up or last round of our golf trip and it is perfect for that. Not overly challenging, not in great shape but good value for the money you pay.
The course was fantastic
I was very happy with the course and the staff at this course.
A fair course
This is not a so bad course. However, there is definitely need for further improvement, especially the service.
