Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

vacation
had a great time playing at Hunters Creek I would love to play again very challenging very busy that day but I still got out ended up playing with four different guys
This course needs a lot of work
My wife joined me and I paid for her to ride the cart. The course condition was poor , needs a lot of work. Tees and greens in poor condition, fairways had a lot bare places. My wife and I visited to rest rooms on the course and found them in a discussed state. I was able to go, but we left the course for my wife and drove to the club house. Missed four holes.
very good course for the money
I was charged more than quoted but there was a note that this could happen. It's like 5$ more. This was my first time using golfnow.com. I am trying it out again today.
Very poorly maintained course!
For the price I paid there are several better courses to play. I don't think I will ever return to this course. The round took five and a half hours. Absolutely ridiculous.
nice tract but disappointing
Have payed this course numerous times over the last 10 years and found both the course and the service better then average on most occasions. Last year found it in need of some tender loving care and was happy to find that the course changed ownership and some $$ was put into the conditioning. Arrived early and was informed on schedule from the pro shop only to find no starter and golfers just lining up as they arrived to the first tee box. Lack of greeters and help to bring bags from car to carts should have been an alert. In any event did get off 30 minutes late to a slow front nine.. The course though was in better condition then the previous year. with soft greens and fairways. Rough was rough but can be expected given the price point paid which was a little below from previous years for golf in the same period. . We were a twosome and should have been paired with the group in front with the same time but the l lack of a starter and a walk on single prevented it. Behind us were three or four two somes that quite the round due to slow play. what could have been a great day was lessened by by sow rate of play. A ranger c certainty would have helped with the pace of play. Some greens showed signs of winter kill but overall were fair for the $$ paid. Hopefully the new management takes notice of the reviews and compliments the reviews by improving the level of service to what repeat customers have experienced in past.
good course poor management
Course is fun and challenging. Pace of play was poor. No ranger and staff was unfriendly. Good value for the money, but the staff could benefit from a course in customer service. Unfortunate because it could be a great place.
Good value
Good value but bunkers need more rakes. Front nine fast play but back nine very slow . Just poor etiquette on foursome ahead of us .
Good value for the cost of a round.
Decent course, very playable, but could use a little more TLC. Some very large sand traps had only one rake available and in some cases, no rakes.
A challenging course
Very good condition and worth the green fees. The back nine greens were a little better condition. We enjoyed the course very much.
Good layout, poor conditioning
Greens were horrible. Areas around green were poor. Grass in fairways was thin in many areas. One rake per sand trap...how cheap. 4 groups stacked on the 1st tee...35 minutes late for our tee off.
Great Value for the location
The condition is good for the price. Especially considering the location and surrounding resort courses are triple the price, this is a great value. Can play long. Played the tips. It was windy. Made the course even longer. Water is abundant. Play smart and straight. Overall it was a fun day. Can't complain. Better than work.
Not as good as it once was
Last played this course 20 yrs ago. Course was in much better condition back then than it is now.
Poor course condition
I have played this course for over 10 years. Worst course conditions I have encountered. I would.guess I have played over 30 rounds. Food and food service was very poor.
Do not recommend.
This course is way over priced and in horrible shape.
Needs more grass
Course was okay but it needed more grass on the fairways and in the rough. Greens looked nice but were slow. I played this course last year in January and remembered it in better condition. Staff was good and offered an excellent replay rate with a reasonable wait time between rounds.
Pleasurable Day & excellent value
Great weather opportunity to shake off Northern Winter cob webs. Great welcoming staff the preformed well despite being reportedly short staffed
Course conditions reasonale for the coming out of winter time off year but all in all a Very Good experience !!
Nice layout but need some care
The grass on fairways and tees need to grow. The greens are a bit better with some bare spot. The back 9 is in better conditions
Good layout
I can realize that the has been a very good course. They have failed to mentained a proper condition of the course. Fairways are thin, greens are bumby and bunkers are very hard. For the money paid it is not Worth playing the course.
Lots of Roll on Fairaways
My wife and I played on a nice afternoon during peak golfing season in FL. Although we waited on almost every hole, we managed to finish in under 4 hours. Course is in good shape and fairway are very firm so the ball rolls and rolls. My wife scored one of her best rounds because she hits the ball low but form. Typical FL residential neighborhood course with kind of a municipal feel.
Nice layout
Fairways were dried out and in most places hard pan,
Greens were punched and rough
We had paid for a package that included driving range, but because someone had dropped out on an earlier tee time starter pushed us out early to fill in the gap
No refreshment cart on course on a hot day was disappointing
