Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club

As we live here year round we play Bobcat often we were disappointed seeing the course conditions today. Many tee boxes are hard as cement and cannot put a tee in the ground. #15 tee box is totally dead and will need replanted this summer even after a fortune was out into the course last summer and the course was closed all summer long for renovations. Try a small portable pump and water it for goodness sakes.

Shirley and I are getting back into golf after quite a few years.. The people here are amazing.. and the people that I have encountered on the course are have been so nice as well.. We are the slow couple.. But so far, everyone just wants to help us.. Not criticize...

It’s pretty open and forgiving for us just beginners and those of us just getting back into it after a few years off..

Had never played there. Course was redone over past few years and re-branded.Everything was easy...range, putting chipping areas. We played at 6000 yards. Not a typical cookie cutter FL course. Holes had personality and looked good off the tee. Local knowledge needed for a first timer as greens are very undulated. But fair. Nice day.

Course is in good shape, greens very fast and roll true, fairways and tees are in good shape as well. I was disappointed in the pro shop, they had very little to choose from. They only accepted credit cards, no cash for green fees.

When this course gets the water that it needs it will be nice. The greens can be challenging and el come in nicely after the spring rains give them a good dousing. I will be back, for sure.

Course was so so condition wise fairways sparse greens all brown.Man at check in extremely nice however person in pro shop was not at all friendly,then after round went into pro shop that guy couldn't have Ben nicer.

The course needs water. The greens were recently aerated with small tines. Should keep getting better. Pace of play was good..

Great layout, needs a little TLC but has the potential to be one of the best layouts in SWFL. Ripe for new grass! The course has great bones just needs tee to green grass. Will play again.

The first person you meet is the starter, he is the perfect person to see first. He friendly and like to make sure everyone is comfortable.

I Heard there is a new owner, so it needs some work yet. The fairways need work, they are cut down to the dirt. The sand seem to be water down, so ball would run through or buried in the sand. If they correct these area's, this course is great. Just needs a little work, so maybe the summer will bring it back.

Don't get me wrong, I going back because it beat me up.

Staff is awesome. Course seems to have fallen off! You would think after the renovations they would water the course. Course is thin all around, greens hard and do not hold most shots, not sure where the fairway ends and the rough starts do to lack of watering. Hope for the future that they make this playable again

Course is in horrible shape. I am sure it has had better days!

I like this course but it needs water. The tee boxes are especially hard. Place of play was a little slow b/c off the 4 some in front of us. Finally on the 14th hole a ranger showed up and told them to pick up the pace. Didn't help much. Oh well.

Greens were in great shape since last played I wouldn’t have given you five dollars the last time I play it what a turn around still a bit over priced but a nice course

This course was in way better shape 6 weeks ago. It seems they are not eating the course, and that is a shame. You need a hammer to get your tees in the tee boxes and the greens are hard and turning brown. Not to mention they don't hold your approach shot. This course could be so much better with a little care.

This course has so much potential. Great layout and challenging holes. However, it’s as dry as a bone. The greens are lumpy and marks everywhere for lack of water.

For $85 you get to play a course in a lot of trouble. The fairways are full of weeds, mostly thin grass that’s half brown, plus many bare spots.The tees are bare and hard as concrete. The greens are a combination of brown and green grass but no weeds. But, they are hard and won’t hold a shot. The lakes are very low and thus about to run out of water. I’m not sure if the owner has run out of money, but the golf course has really gone downhill in the last 3 months. Lot’s of better courses around you can play for less than they’re charging.

Course was challenging, Tee boxes were hard as a rock very difficult to get the tee in the ground, Fairways need some work, Staff was excellent,..over all this course would be awesome with a little TLC.

First time here. Great layout. Good shape. Free range balls and bottled water. Win Win. Will definitely be back.

This was my 2nd trip here and I find this course very interesting to play and a great value
