What a wonderful Jem The only slight issue is the greens which won't be redone until next year. A wonderful layout challenging but open! Cold bottled water available throughout the course! I must say my son and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The staff is very friendly!! We will be back!!

Overall, I am highly satisfied with what I got for the money I paid. The only thing I can say anything about is the fact that the greens were pretty rough, BUT they said they are in the process of planning to fix them, which after that is completed, I have absolutely zero complaints! Incredible layout, fantastic fairways, manicured bunkers, and all in all a superb course! I will certainly be visiting again, and can’t wait for the new greens to be placed! 4.4/5!

The course has some problems with the greens,all of them had this weed,grass,looked like broccoli and tough to judge puts ,I hope this is a seasonal thing,1 or 2 months ,otherwise they will have do some major green repair.

Really enjoyed the greens ,layouts was excellent .plenty of free bottled water, toilets on the course were 1st class

I was impressed right away that driving range balls are complimentary. Other upgrades include GPS systems in the carts and ice & bottled water in a side bin on the cart. They also have coolers on select holes with bottled water. The starter, who has been there for 10 years, was very excited to tell me about upcoming upgrades which will be implemented this summer.

I always liked this course. I never understood why they did not put sand in the traps? Now it's much more pleasurable to play. It has some elevations unlike other courses in the area. The interactive GPS in the carts being able to see the distance to the hazards is a good touch. The bottled water also a nice touch.

Complaints: The cost. It's not in my opinion an $85.00 course. We paid $53.00 and felt it was a good value.

The phone answering system entertaining at first but now annoying and much too long. You should be able to press a button to expedite the call to the pro shop.

Greens need to be redone. No true rolls, rough, pitted, little grass

We got to the course 1/2 hour early and were able to bet out 15 minutes early. Windy day but that made the high temperatures tolerable. They changed the back 9 to become the front nine compared to the last time I played about 2 years ago. Some fairways are rolling so it could be a challenge to hit balls on varying slopes. Greens in good shape. Great day at the course.

Greens a little out of shape, but the course is laid out nicely and has all kinds of promise if the greens could get up to speed.

Arrived early for a 1:18 tee time, so we ate lunch in their bar and grille,. Food and service were excellent Starter let us go out early, so my husband and I got to play by ourselves which was a welcome change. We saw absolutely no one out on the course except the ranger and the beverage cart girl. Fairways were undulating with good roll, and greens were fast. Restrooms on the front and back are the most beautiful ones I have ever seen on a golf course. They also provide bottles of water out on the course. It was an overall great experience.

The course has always been a great layout, but condition was poor

Now they have invested in making it a truly world class venue

Good layout and challenging. Good fast greens with some tough pin placements.

Course has been upgrading since being bought by new owners, after previous owner nearly destroyed it. All bunkers have steep faces eliminated and now have proper sand. Greens were good but some are showing stressed areas. Got a reasonable rate on GolfNow. Played as a 2 some behind a 4 some that were not eager to let us go by. There was nobody playing ahead of them. Having the range included was a great bonus also. I hope they don't price themselves out and not get any play. $85.00 is a bit stiff in my opinion.

We really liked this course. Very fast pace of play. Friendly people working there as well. This course was too hard for me, but I look forward to playing this course when my golf has improved. Definitely try this course!

This is a great course for the money. Greens were fast and true, condition was good and looks to be improving all the time. If your in the venice area you should check it out.
