We enjoyed the course & had a good time. Speed of
play was okay alittle over 4 hrs. All & all we would play
it again.

It's a nice course. I've played it many times. course condition was pretty good for this time of year. What they really need is to put sand in the bunkers instead of broken shells and rocks. Easy to ruin your clubs with that stuff. Pace of play was close to 4 hours 50 minutes. That's unacceptable IMO. When the drink cart drives by more than the ranger you know something is wrong.

The course. Was in pretty good shape they have a new greenskeeper an doing a great job traps need a little work

Greens are perfect, even with the lack of rain. Fairways are generous and in great condition. Rough is a bit dry and needs TLC. Only complaint...the bunkers are full of rocks and seashells which scratch your clubs and fly all over the greens.

No sand in bunkers and a few too many weeds to pay full price. Golfnow hot deal is only way to book. Greens were fast and true

If the whirs are what you play try the greens. It's a lot of fun

The course description states GPS so I left mine at home but the new carts do not have a GPS in them. This did not take away from the experience but the GPS would have helped.

Couse itself is good. 1:15 T time. Got off 1:35.
3 hours to play the front 9. Finished at hole # 15 as it was too dark. You shouldn't have to finish after 15 with a 1:15 T time booked.

This course has many very good holes. The layout is top notch. The traps, while well groomed, lacked sand. Some tee boxes were worn. Despite that the course was a joy to play. It can accommodate all levels of play. Nice scenery also.

Bobcat is an enjoyable place for a round, but on my visit we had a 25 minute delayed start and a slow pace. The course was well maintained and interesting. It is scenic with water hazards and the greens were in good shape. It offers a variety of challenges for the average golfer. It has a nice restaurant and bar area as well. As I was coming down from Sarasota to play with a friend from Naples, it was convenient for us both. I am sure we will return.

The Bobcat course seems to reward shot accuracy over length. Many of the par-4 holes feature relatively narrow fairways with specific landing-areas and heavy penalties for straying too far left or right. The big hitters in our foursome went through the fairway on several dogleg holes. The bunker sand is very gritty, with many small rocks and seashells, making it especially difficult to escape from the deep ones that are used to defend quite a few greens. The course had a slightly dry appearance (due to lack of recent rain), which added to the roll of the ball both on the fairway and on the greens, but also made it nearly impossible for the ball to avoid water on several banked portions of the course. The greens were typically generous in size, and more undulating than tiered.

No sand in sand traps, weeds everywhere including greens, dead areas on greens, red ant infestation, and rotting bridges are just the highlights of this golf course. It is a nice track, wish someone would take care of it.

Greens a bit fast due to recent sand treatment and/or fertilizer. Sand a bit thin in some green bunkers resulting in stones on some greens.
Also lots of recent cut back of tree & shrub growth along fairways. Not as nice as last play 2 years ago. Otherwise ok golf if not paying full price.

Management seems to think playing five in high season is ok. We were unfortunate enough to play behind these guys. They lost pace by the tenth hole, and finished two holes behind the group in front of them. Course Rangers drove by at least three times on the back side and would not come near us or say a word to them. Stay away unless you like 5 hour and 15 minute Golf .

We picked it from golf now and was not disapointed. Great time even with 20+ MPH winds. Well designed and great shape for the time of year. Greens were to die for, people were friendly. Can't wait to play again

one of my favorite Suncoast courses - great staff - great shape - will return

Fair course. Wide fairways and abundant H2O.Greens are tough to read and there are subtle contours that make putting and chipping challenging. In my opinion a bit overpriced compared to other courses that are in a bit better condition. Bunkers are such a disappointment compared to the rest of the course.
You could hunt for seashells of good size. Also there a large chunks of coral that could be cleared. I played poorly enough that I was well aware of the bunker conditions. Overall still enjoyable round.

Great time and course . Play in front of us was a little slow .

The overall condition and pace of play were very good however some of the bunkers need attention.
