Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club

This was second year in a row we played here and while I really like the course the greens this year were a bit slower. Overall a good value but had to pay extra for range balls. Would recommend as a good time for any caliber of golfer.

We teed off 25 minutes late and were not given an explaination for late start. It took us over 5 hours to play the round.

The bunkers are in poor condition and need quite a bit of attention to get them back into good shape, some had a lot of stones in them. Greens were quite tricky. Some tees need attention

enjoyed the round but pace of play was very slow. Sunday at 1138 tee off and took over 4.5 hours to complete. Waited to hit on every hole, did not see any Marshalls on course. Course is enjoyable to play and in very good condition.

Course was in great shape, weather was great but play was extremely slow. I was very disappointed in the lack of Ranger commitment to speed up play and was equally disappointed to learn that there was an unofficial tournament going on. The even more disappointing thing is I've always wanted to play this course but the experience was not worth the wait.

If you look way back to OCT/Nov reviews the same condition of the bunkers still exists. Nothing done.
With a Sat 12:53 T-time we barely made it in before dark at 6pm. No ranger visible anywhere. Had a group behind us hit into us 4 times during 1st 6 holes.
Called clubhouse to complain, no one came out to deal with the matter.
No beverage cart on course at all that we saw in our 5 hour round.
This whole situation on this course has been the same for past 3 years. I go back once a year to see if things have changed, they haven't.
Only good thing is fair price and very good greens.
You need major improvements all around. See u next year MAYBE??????

Would be nice if the bunkers had more sand, but it' still a good course for the price.

Really like the Bobcat course.... it's always well maintained and staff is consistantly on top of things.

Course was good, value was good. Would be nice if they had a beverage cart!!!

Choose your tee box carefully in the wind here. Big factor on holes like 13,17.

Having played here before I can't understand the conditions (still) in some of the bunkers. It hurts the good work on the rest of the course. either make them better or grow them over.

The course has a very nice layout, the condition of fairways and tee boxes could be a little better. However, it is absolutely worth to play, the layout is great and provides a lot of fun.

Got a great rate on Golf Now. Have played Bobcat many times over the years. It's not my favorite track, but that's more personal preference. Just doesn't fit my eye well and conditioning of the course has been suspect at times over the years. Conditioning of the course was good for this round.

Love this golf course and we play it several times every winter BUT it always takes 5 hours to finish our round. Bring your patience if you're a fast player, or play somewhere else!

11:15 tee time and they were already out of carts at 10:30. Got a cart at 11:05 and the starter forgot to call me for my tee time. Paired me up with a twosome 15 minutes late. They overbooked and were just stacking groups on #1 tee. No time between groups. Just stack em and pack em. Made for a very slow 5 hour round.

Most of the sand traps were unplayable, filled with 1000s of rocks and shells. Putting on the greens was like putting on a Ruffles potato chip. Fairways were decent, but most were spotty with dead grass and weeds. Tee boxes were the same.

Overall this course has lost its luster. Used to be nice. Not sure how any of the previous reviews in the last couple of months say it was in nice condition.

Played with two members that said other members tried to buy the course from the owner because of how sick they were of the course conditions. The owner refused to sell to the members and also refuses to put money into the course. Save your time and your money and play somewhere else. Trust me.

Friendly staff, driving range onto "island" greens gets any fear of water under control on the range where is doesn't matter.

There are quite a few interesting holes with decisions to be made - play safe or go for it.

c'est un terrain a joué , il y a beaucoup d'eau et une bonne précision des coups est nécessaire . les verts sont rapides et ondulé mais pas a l'extrême. les trappes de sable étaient toutefois dans un mauvais état ,en fait pas de sable et beaucoup de roches, mais quand même bien conditionné . J'y retournerai.

This course was in very good condition for the dry weather that we have had. The fairways were nice and the greens run pretty fast. There was a tournament the weekend before so the pin placements were down right brutal but a ton of fun. The only complaint is the traps. I have never played where the traps were so deep and the sand was very hard. As my partner told me, stay out of the traps or it's going to be a long day! Awesome round and not to crowded yet for this time of year. I will certainly play again.

Nice course . difficult approach shots on par 5's.

Greens where nice fast but not too fast

The course is a great course to play and very fair. Enjoyed my experience but wish they would fix the bunkers. There low on sand and what they have in them is low quality. I will come back and hope they address the problem
