Poor upkeep
Greens were ok where not damaged. Course was not well watered. Other than the greens it was very dry.
Good value for the money
This is a decent course for the money. They need to spend a little money repairing/ improving the cart trails and the tee markers. I would play here again

Classic design - 2 course in 1
Two course in one. The front 9 is a flatland open, what you see is what you get design. The back 9 is a mountain course with hills, valleys, and a few blind shots. A little course knowledge will go a long way in club selection and positioning.
Overall condition of the course was pretty good. There were a few greens with some thin spots but you can see the crew has been working to get this course in shape.
If you want to play a classic Donald Ross course it is worth the money. Hope you enjoy your round.
Great experience
Upon arrival the pro shop staff was extremely friendly and helpful. As a guest to the area and playing this course for the first time they took the time to explain the course and offered some playing hints. The course maintenance guys were also helpful providing guidance along the way, if asked! Great day!
Course is in great condition
Great day. Players moved along well and conditions were great.
Good course layout to knock off the rust
1st time playing since I moved from FL 8 months ago. No driving available. Putting green is available. Front 9 is fairly wide open and flat. I needed this to warm up and get my confidence back. The back nine is much more narrow, pleasing to the eye, and full of elevation changes which hide a few obstacles. The ball was above or below my feet the entire back 9. For $15 this is exactly what I was looking for to knock off the rust. I will try to conquer this course again in the near future.

Nice day
The course is in good shape. They need a ranger to keep people moving. Some people need to LEARN golf etiquette!!!! Also the ranger can keep people from driving on fairways that are cart path only. I can't believe the ignorance and rudeness of some golfers.
Good course
Need some improvements on cart paths ,some of the greens and fairways. Some traps wasn't full. Overall the conditions was good. I have played at a lot worse.

Grass still very sparse in the fairway. Greens still recovering. Crowded today so slooow play. Only had time for 9. I'll be back.

Still waiting for grass to grow
Not much in the way of fairway grass. Greens haven't recovered from the aeration. But, a fun day with a very good friend. We'll be back..

I really like the layout of this course. I wish the course could afford a larger budget for ground improvements. Perhaps one day.

Nice place, good value
Played on a nice day in December. Course just got a ton of rain but it's a nice layout and could not complain for December
