Mozingo Lake Recreation Park Golf Course - Sechrest 18

My first time playing this course. We had rain but waited it out for almost 2 hours but it was so worth it. I’ve played a ton of courses in Florida and this is by far my favorite course and my favorite course I played while in Missouri. Staff were also very friendly. I can’t wait to come back and play again.

Absolutely beautiful well cared for course. Drove up from KC to check it out . Well worth the drive.

I booked a twosome a few weeks before we were set to play the course. When we checked in, we were told that since we were a twosome, we'd be paired with another twosome. That was fine. What we weren't told, and what didn't set well with me, was that the twosome we were paired with was a pair of juniors playing a practice round. They were getting ready for a qualifier the next day and they were hitting shots and leaving dozens of balls on the green so they could practice putting. They were good, they kept up with the pace of play, but there's something weird about being paired with another twosome that is hitting 4 or 5 shots out of the fairway, putting 14 times on the green, and we were never told. Had we known this was a practice round for them, I would have cancelled the tee time or asked to be moved to one where we weren't paired with people that were playing a practice round. I'm disappointed that staff didn't let us know. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Course is always in great shape a d staff is always professional.

Stayed at the rv park and played twice. Course a bit dry but overall great shape. Challenging greens and blind shots abound. Really enjoyed the course and restaurant

Kc area. It is so worth the drive to go play here amazing conditions, great layout and nice pro shop.

Only problem was construction resulting in a few holes being on fairways.

The course was in excellent condition and pace was very good. There are some long difficult par 4s, but it's still a great place to play. We'll definitely play here again.

The course has a lot of lake views. Great lay out and great conditions. The greens were rolling pure and smooth. A great track and great value for the money! I wish it was closer to Kansas City!

Go play this course now. Don’t worry about the drive. Do yourself a favor.
