Don't play this course until they fix the greens
15 of the 18 greens were absolutely horrible. They had sand traps and mud on at least half of the greens.
Needs Work
I had higher hopes for this course. I had never played it before so wanted to try something new. Overall, I'd give this course a C-. Driving range was nice, putting green had some dead spots as did basically all greens on this course.
Fairways and bunkers were in nice shape but tee boxes needed some love.
Had it not been for the condition of the greens, I would've given this course higher score. Also, the carts were nice but no USB connection which other courses of similar price point have. Maybe I'm spoiled but I want to keep my phone charged while I stream Sirius XM music.
Until I hear that the greens are back in shape, I'll probably pass on this course going forward.

All about the Greens.
Although we were told and a sign posted about the conditions of the greens it was sold as there were some greens with burnt spots on them. This was an understatement. Some greens we had to put thru bunkers basically.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rest of the course is in great shape. We were told they will be doing all the greens in the coming weeks.

Olde Sycamore
It was my first time golfing here. With the exception of a few greens, the course was in good condition. I would definitely recommend this course fir its serenity, layout and overall value for the green fees..

REAL BAD GREENS
And i mean real bad for the price . You charge top dollar but the course is in the worst condition i have seen in a awhile. pack every day but not taking take on the course, every weekend it full so what are they doing with the money if the course is in so bad condition. You can't blame the weather we had rain all year not an super hot one eighter.

Overall great value, fairways were great, greens not so much
It's been a while since I've played Olde Sycamore but it didn't disappoint. The fairways were in great shape, but the greens have had a tough summer. Looked like they got burned some with the heat and humidity stretch we had in late July through early September. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our round. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Course was not in best shape
The course had some high and low points. The bunkers had plenty of sand (played out of one) the fairways were in good shape. Depending on the hole though the greens were terrible. A par 3 green on the course on the front 9 is almost unplayable. The course is fine, just might look somewhere else for a better green experience.

Greens need work
The course layout and fairways were in great shape, but the greens were inconsistent and in a couple of holes almost unplayable.

Just fix the greens
First time playing olde sycamore. Our group enjoyed the course layout, conditions, and amenities with the exception of the greens. Not sure if they are doing maintenance or what but they were in strangely poor shape. Lots of dead spots and uneven terrain which was surprising considering the rest of the course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly and the clubhouse/pro shop was all you could want. Will be back but hopefully they address the greens.

A fall from grace
This course used to be so nice. I loved playing it because it gave me a private feel but what a public course. Not sure if management changed or what but the greens were in horrible conditions. Like 60% of the greens on the front 9 had black dirt around it. I wouldn’t have played it for more than 30$. Pin location on a par 3 was literally on a hill. If you missed by an inch the ball was roll 16ft past the whole. Staff was nice, but the course greens are in horrendous shape.

Greens in horrible shape
The worst greens I have ever played… bare spots, divots, no grass, uneven surface on every green… the worst pin placements too

Most if not all greens were terrible. Won’t come back until they get those fixed or redone

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE GREENS
The greens on this course are the worst greens I have ever played on. They are absolutely atrocious! People don’t fix their divots. There are probably 100 unfixed divots per green. It is impossible to putt or read the greens. This course is not worth the money it costs to play here.

Greens are terrible!
I highly recommend staying away from this golf course. It is obvious they are not investing money in the course. The greens were completely shot. Several pin locations were in areas where you couldn’t stop the ball in the green due to the bad spots all over the greens.

WORST GREENS I HAVE EVRY SEEN
Don.t know way you charge- 80$ on the weekend and all the greens are damage. Edges burned up by sun and chemical damage. If your a top course way is it in so bad shape ? Sorry i can't say go here it's not worth the price. very over price for what you get if you love great golf courses in great shape.

Sad what the course has become
Played this course for 20 years. Never seen it this bad. We stopped after nine because it took almost 3 hours to play the front nine. And the greens were so bad we could not putt.
