Excellent Course at an Excellent Rate
Played 18 but it was cart path only due to the amount of rain received the day before. But course was still in decent condition. My only gripe was the amount of ball mark damage on the greens. As golfers, we need to take better care of our greens.
Sunday, 8/6, afternoon round
Overall, course was in good shape. My only criticism was the pace of the greens, they were shaggy and slow. Tees and Fairviews were in good shape.

The course is strategic
There are a lot of dog-legs and forced layups on this course. I only needed to hit driver off of the tee on 3 holes on this course. I really enjoyed hitting 4 Irons and hybrids off of the tee. The greens were fair and maybe 2 greens had some maintenance issues.

Expensive
I play this course quite often and they have recently increased their rates. Its unfortunate, I love the course, but not worth $100 per round. It will definitely limit how much I play there

Green were pitted with unrepaired ball marks and not in overall good condition. Golf carts outdate and no GPS or visual aid screens regarding course layout and distances. Disappointing for the price compared to other courses in the region of same price. River Run is better in both areas of this review.

Great course
Being from Illinois the pace of play is great with the rangers being on rhe course. Round took 4 hours even with course being full. 1 green a little burnt otherwise the greens were great to putt on. I like this course and will play it whenever I visit Charlotte.

Senior rates
Nice course, my issue is Golfnow does not display the senior rate for Charlotte courses and most of the Golfnow courses in Charlotte want you to paid up front on Golfnow so I paid $10 over the senior rate

Great Course
This is a fantastic course that is well kept. I booked solo and played at 8am with several members from the neighborhood. It was my 3rd time playing here, and it's been great every time. Greens are consistent, and well kept. Bunkers have good consistent sand. Tee boxes are in great shape. All around, I would highly recommend any skill level to play this course. There are several Tee boxes to fit everyone's skill level. And the food & drink selections are awesome. Price is a little higher than the average in the area. But you get what you pay for with this course. It's well worth it.
