4th of July Golfing
Overall it was a very good experience at a fair price. Not too crowded considering the holiday, however, it was very, very hot. We played in the early afternoon and all the on course water jugs that I came to were empty or close to. No cart girl came around either and a cold drink would have been greatly appreciated. Distance markers to fairway hazards such as blind creeks running across the fairway would have been a big help. Overall the course was well maintained except the greens were quite rough and in need of some repair.

Old Syc
Greens were slow and some were bad in spots. No cart girls or on course beverage service. Usually wouldn't take the time to write a review but given the high cost to play this had to be said.

It’s good!
Greens are better, course conditions are solid. Still a tuff course but you can tell they are putting the money into the course to make it solid!

On line reservation terms terrrible
The course and amenities are nice. However, I had to pay $24 up front just to make an online reservation. $9.96 was a convenience fee and $14.16 was some sort of partial pre-payment fee that I was given no credit for once arriving at the course. Better to call the course and reserve directly!

Nice course weaving Mong the neighborhood
Plenty of trees to protect houses. Almost not noticeable that this is a course lined with houses. Plenty of water and trees but nothing extreme and you could find most wayward shots.

Value Not Great but Awesome Greens
Since they’re aren’t many public courses that one can get on in Charlotte, this is a decent optjon. However, I think that the weekend rate of $99 is a bit steep for the condition of the course overall. The greens are in great shape and roll true, but there were are good amount of dead spots out there and the sand in the bunkers wasn’t the best. I’d probably play it again if the price was around $50 because it’s a fun layout with challenging dog legs and elevation changes. They have a good deal on a 6 pack of beer or 4 pack of IPA’s, a nice bar and grill area in the clubhouse, and a decent practice facility.

Slow Again
Once again pace of play was bad. From #10 onward we had to way on every tee and every approach shot for a much slower group. And as a result, everyone behind us were waiting too. There were multiple open holes in front of this group but they were playing on the maximum pace of play so the course did not ask them to speed up. Fine. They were a foursome and we were a threesome and behind us was a twosome before another foursome. Why not have them wave us thru and even the twosome behind us so the open holes get closed? All of us are entitled to a good experience.

Slow Play Today
Generally, this course plays fast. However, today there was a group somewhere slowing down the train. From the 4th hole onwards we were waiting every shot. Now, it wasn’t 5 hours long but it was slow enough that the group I was in all commented how the waiting was impacting their game. I just think that for $100 awaiting on every shot should not be one of the worries a player has.
Don’t get me wrong. I’ll be back.

Consistent Bad Experiences
Expensive. Bad bunker maintenance. Bad tee boxes. No water in any water stations. Unattended phones. Just consistently underwhelming and over priced.

Low Value - Clear Lack of Respect for Patrons
Course is here to take your money. Paid a holiday premium to play on a course with semi-closed practice facilities, staff members that don’t answer the phone, empty water coolers (5/5 empty including at the range), and poorly maintained bunkers and tee boxes. Place could be great, nice layout that makes you use all your clubs. Just feels like they don’t care about anything but charging the absolute maximum green fee for the absolute minimum effort. I’ve been a few times to see if it’s been bad timing, it’s not. Not likely to be back anytime soon or recommend.
