Olde Sycamore Golf Club

Played a 5 hour round on a Saturday. The electric carts are about to die. The round was cart path only but most of the holes could have been driven. Decent layout and greens were in good condition but will never play again on a Weekend. Better value courses in the area.

Don't believe those good reviews. Evidently written by the pro staff. Course conditions from tee to green terrible. They should call it Olde Syc Mud Hole. Not worth the money. Too many other courses around with better conditions and less money.

Great layout, excellent staff, but horrible course conditions mainly due to self-inflected over watering.

FYI, this course aims for a five hour round of golf (2hr 15min per nine). Unfortunately, they book tee times nine (9) minutes apart. With so many people on the course, and so many amateur golfers "going for the green" on the par 5s, it turns into 2h 30 minutes per nine. I walked off the course after finishing the front nine since there was no possible way to get more that a few holes in with the sunset arriving around 5:13 pm.

The high volume of golfers also appears to be stressing the greens excessively. While there will always be spike marks on any green, there were dozens on nearly every green, and unrepaired divots near the front of the greens. I fixed at least one or two divots from previous golfers on every green.

It's a scenic course, but if you don't have a full day to devote to a leisurely round of golf, you will need to look elsewhere.

The course had a severe lack of golf carts. We teed off over half an hour late because there were no carts available. After 9 holes, we had to change carts and the 2nd cart did not last the entire back 9.

Took my 10 year old daughter for her first round ever she played all par 3 ‘s and putted all 9 holes we played together !

Course was wet but the course handles water well the greens were pretty good I love 9 and 18 two amazing holes come in to the club house .

Course is just right. Not too easy, not too hard. Lots of fun holes, and a couple dogleg par fours you can cheat with a good drive. Greens are amazing. This is now our home course,

Pace of play is always an issue here. I played 3 holes in an hour and twenty minutes and bailed. There was a junior tournament going on but the same amount of tee times were booked. Very disappointing and can't play when I have to wait 20 minutes per shot.

The tournament caused us to only get in 9 holes in 4 hours. I do not blame the tournament but the course for allowing golfers to tee off after the kids

Played nine holes in the afternoon. Really pretty course. Good condition. Would come back.

We've played this course about 10 times this summer. Have never had great issues with the greens, although most players obviously never repair divots, so they're spotty.

For this time of year course was in great shape and plus ++ for greens

Played there 5 times... The fairways are always soggy... always cart path only... They rush and cram you off the first tee... just to back you up with no marshal monitoring pace of play. You wait 4 to 5 minutes on every tee box... reached 18th tee and we where the 4th 4-some inline waiting to tee off. The course layout is fun and challenging, but it would be much better if they could get the water to drain off. Although their tee time booking system says the twilight rates start at 1pm. and charges you twilight rates, they will charge you full price until 2pm and just state the computer is wrong... Overall I dont see going back, too many other nice courses around where you get treated better.

Fairways and roughs were in good condition. Sand traps were deep raked. Greens held the approach shot well, rolled true, were medium speed, and had challenging pin positions.
