They lost all their greens to a fungus. They should have said something to me when I checked in, I wouldn't have played based on being told. After playing and seeing just how bad they are, there's no way I would have played this course, at any price. It was a waste of time and feel like I was openly cheated.

They've lost every green they have, looks like a fungus. I've played for 50 years and these were the worst greens I've ever seen. I should have been told what I was getting into when I checked in, and given the oppurtunity to back out. No person in their right mind would pay to play this course right now.

While we knew going into it that the greens were burnt I didn’t know that they were basically deserted…in condition and care. The burnt spots were flaky with dried mold. They should have been rolled to flatten them at least. They looked like they had just given up on them. Divots all over. Dried and flaky. Couldn’t hit a straight putt from anywhere.

But if that’s the case I would at least expect them to have a super nice staff to make up for it. Nope. We walked into the pro shop to an older gentleman who didn’t say hello, welcome to the course, how you doing… but instead told my friend who had on a very nice golf shirt without a collar (you know the kind half the pros wear now) “ if you don’t have a collar you’re not playing here. We told him he did have one in the car and so he took our money never telling us how much he was running the card for and then said it two more times… if you don’t have a collar you can’t play so go get it before I run your card. Ok rude but whatever. We then go to the practice area and before we can even putt we were told to go off earlier than our tee time. “Head on up to the first tee so we don’t get behind” Again by an older gentleman. We had a really bad taste in our mouth when we teed off and when we left the course. Nothing like the past times I’d played there. It’s ok to have issues but it’s not ok to be rude to anyone paying you to be there.

I want to emphasize that I have the utmost respect for the grounds crew's efforts to maintain the course under challenging conditions. However, I must express severe disappointment with the overall state of the greens. Every single green is in deplorable condition, covered in large, hard patches of dead, dark brown grass and clumps of sand. These aren't typical burn spots; the grass is completely lifeless, it’s not even really grass, it’s like a scab is growing over the dead grass. I've never encountered greens in such poor shape. To make matters worse, the $60 green fee was charged without any warning about the greens' condition. I will never play this course again.

The Greens were by far the worst I have ever seen. Little to no grass on any of them. I have played some courses with bad greens but this by far was the worst. The Tee boxes and fairways were well maintained and course design is good but even at the $50 price I paid I still wanted a refund because of how bad the greens are.. They should really close down until they can address this issue. Staff wasn't bad but I was very disappointed in the state of the course. For what you pay you are better off going to any other course in Charlotte

First time here and the greens are in horrendous shape. Mainly sand and dirt on many of the holes. It seems the greens have some sort of disease or something. Very bummed out as there was no disclosure of this. No way to play a real round as putting wasn’t possible on many holes. A real shame as the rest of the course was good. Fairways and tee boxes in great shape. Bunkers okay. Driving range in great shape as well. But unfortunately will not return due to the greens condition

Greens aren’t even playable. Please don’t waste your time or money here.

Unfortunately they lost the greens and they are the worst I have ever seen. Not worth the money. Book elsewhere til next year. Don’t know why a muni would go bent grass this far south.

They have lost the greens due to all of the rain and high temps.

Good layout, friendly staff, slow round 4:45 with a 9 AM tee time. Greens are severely damaged. Course should be closed or on temps until greens are repaired. It is obvious that course maintainence has been neglected.

They had an issue with the greens. Very burnt up. Th rest of the course was great! I would recommend playing in September the green should be better by then.

Hadn’t played this course in a couple years and there were craters on every single green. Horrible condition and way overpriced.

The greens are GONE, done, dead, finished and large portions of every green need REPLACEMNET! They need to spend the money and repair it, The small discount is not enough as you cannot putt on the greens.

Love the layout of the course and the pace of play was fine (4 hours and 10 minutes); however, for a Saturday, too many twosomes amongst foursomes. When the greens are fixed (understatement) this is a very good course!
