The Currituck Club

The course was challenging and a good layout. Wind made it extra tough. Some great views. Greens though were in need of work, many had big marks left in them. Tee boxes also need some TLC. Was fortunate to get a deal on TeeOff app for $76, because regular rate of $119 would be a bit much in my opinion.

on an otherwise fabulous day course was disappointing its usually in better condition but was way off when we played. tee boxes were an embarassment . on the phone I was quoted one price when it came to pay at the course jacked up the price more than $10

Played as a single. Rain was scheduled so course was empty so I got around easy, in fact never saw another golfer until I was on 17. Was staying on a rental property off the 5th hole and watched golfers all week and it was consistently busy.

Greens had just been aerated, but pro shop let me know when I made the tee time. I would say No 7 is the “signature hole” but the back was probably the more enjoyable time, with the exception of the par 3 11th which seems out of place and just acts as a connector from one part of the course to another. The par 3s weren’t brutally long which I liked.

Bring a lot of golf balls if you aren’t a great golfer, or plan on looking for some during your round. Paid 80$ to play around 3PM which I thought was reasonable for a vacation area course.

Only negatives is the club website said rental clubs were $50 but they were actually $65. And to echo what other people have said, pretty ridiculous there is no GPS in the carts at a course like this. All in all though I would play again.

Currituck club course we played today for third consecutive day. Tee boxes not cut . Nothing was cut in last .3 days. Twosome and threesome ahead of of us joins together on number 10 and played as a 5some. Left us play thru on 12 and there were 3 open holes in front of them. No ranger on course.

As a 10 handicap, I found this a challenging but fun course. The staff was friendly and accommodating . The greens were consistent, but unfortunately a lot of ball marks were left unrepaired. The sand traps were well placed but I had two buried lies there due to the softness of the sand. I look forward to playing this course again and whenever I return to the outer banks.

Varied layout with long challenging holes and then shorter, thinking holes. Greens were really receptive- fun to see the ball spin back when I hit a few greens from the fairways.

Disappointed for the green fees you should have range balls available.

Greens should have been rolled too many marks due to moisture.

I played this course for the first time today. The weather was truly hot and the humidity was something that made the round of golf just bearable. Nothing the course could do about that of course....the layout is great, the fairways are great grass and the greens ran a little hot, but very nice all the same. We were stick behind a foursome made up of four older players who really took too much time on the tee box and the greens, they were carrying on conversations on the tee box for way to long and on the green, you'd a thought it was a pga event. We were behind them less than a 100 yards most of the time and they never offered to let up play thorough....I thought this was really poor golf etiquette. Maybe better luck next time.

Typically play this course in early Fall when the rates are reasonable. Pace of play was actually very good. Tee boxes need work, fairways in good shape and greens held but were bumpy and needed a cut and good rolling.
