About
The Currituck Club has a Rees Jones-designed layout that stands out from other Outer Banks courses, mostly thanks to its ideal location along the Currituck Sound. The golf course shares the landscape with an abundance of wildlife including deer, osprey, geese, and turtles. Golfers might even catch a glimpse of an eagle soaring overhead. The layout tumbles across rolling sand dunes and combined with the seaside location, the golf course offers a true links feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. The diverse coastal terrain is covered with maritime forests and wetlands. The holes are both challenging and scenic, especially the seventh through the ninth, which sit right along the Sound. The golf course also finishes on the Sound with a scenic closing stretch. Playing The Currituck Club right at sundown will provide unrivaled views.

Pace of play needs vast improvement. Takes nearly 6 hours to complete a round of golf. Greens were in rough shape and needed rolled.
Took almost 6 hours to play 18 holes. Nobody came around to enforce pace of play. Green we’re in poor shape. Definitely not worth 1

Nice course
We enjoyed playing The Currituck Club.
The course was in very good shape and played long with the added winds.
The greens were a bit slower than expected.

3rd time is a charm
Second time here, staff wasn’t friendly. And didn't maintain tee times or pace well. Ill pass next year and try other places, they have gps on carts, so they should know pace.

Tee Boxes
I've been playing this course on average of twice a year for the last 16 years. I don't get it. What is it with the tee boxes in recent years that they can't be in the condition that you see on both private and public courses all over the country. I'm sorry, it's not hard. Really, it's sad that whether you pay a GolfNow Hot Deal fee, full price or are member at the CC, that the tee boxes are in the condition that are in. This issue has been pointed out on reviews numerous times in the past without improvement. Don't get me started about the greens.
