About
The Currituck Club has a Rees Jones-designed layout that stands out from other Outer Banks courses, mostly thanks to its ideal location along the Currituck Sound. The golf course shares the landscape with an abundance of wildlife including deer, osprey, geese, and turtles. Golfers might even catch a glimpse of an eagle soaring overhead. The layout tumbles across rolling sand dunes and combined with the seaside location, the golf course offers a true links feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. The diverse coastal terrain is covered with maritime forests and wetlands. The holes are both challenging and scenic, especially the seventh through the ninth, which sit right along the Sound. The golf course also finishes on the Sound with a scenic closing stretch. Playing The Currituck Club right at sundown will provide unrivaled views.

Currituck Round
Always great to play Currituck. Biggest complaint was the tee boxes were in terrible shape. We also missed having the GPS system on the cart. Finally, the score cars could use an update - a course layout would be nice and knowing where the pins were on the greens would have been helpful. Definitely a step down from previous rounds

Expensive for the quality
Course condition has continued to worsen over the years. Tee boxes are brutal now. $50 type muni course, greens are veryyy slow and fairways are long.

Good Resort Course. Should be $85 but your paying for the location.
Nice resort track with a friendly staff. Course was in good shape but not worth the $155 we paid. But we are on vacation so it’s all good!

Not a lot of bang for your buck
Played this course a lot growing up. Not even close to the shape it once was. Tee boxes had sand spots and no grass all over, and were not mowed. Greens were slow and filled with unfixed divots. Bunkers and bunker faces were unkept and overgrown in spots. And you figured for $155 bucks, range balls would be included. Not the case.
I understand its a resort course that gets alot of play, but for the shape it was in, not worth the money. Better off going off the island to play.

First time playing in the Outer Banks
The course exceeded my expectations. The layout and landscape were lovely. The course played well and was in great condition. The staff was very friendly and accommodative. There is a great practice area to boot. I'd highly recommend this course for anyone staying in the northern Outer Banks.

Very average. Way overpriced.
Starter rushed us off 40 min early for reason as a twosome to play behind a foursome. Made zero sense and was looking for a relaxing round and to get warmed up before playing. Tee boxes were atrocious. Literally teed up in the rough on 14. Greens in decent shape but really slow. Ok course but would NEVER pay $150 again. Maybe half that.

Golf in the Outer Banks
Being a course on the island is a huge advantage compared to having to drive an extra 30 minutes each way to play golf on the mainland. The course like most courses is getting an enormous amount of play, so finding really good deals are tougher during peak season. Course is in pretty good shape. Greens are a little slow for a premium course. , like all courses would really benefit from people fixing their ball marks.! Still overall I recommend playing here !

Almost perfect
Nice and close to Corolla. Layout is great, pace was great at just over 4 hours or so. However tee boxes and sand traps could use a little maintenance love.

Not worth it
Love the course but there are too many short par 4’s (335 to 365 yards) which make it uninteresting. Overall, a very good layout but the greens were really crappy. Divot marks and gouges were predominant. Very lazy staff/ground crew to let the greens get so poor. I can’t recommend this course in its current condition. Way too expensive with the greens in their current condition.
