About
The Currituck Club has a Rees Jones-designed layout that stands out from other Outer Banks courses, mostly thanks to its ideal location along the Currituck Sound. The golf course shares the landscape with an abundance of wildlife including deer, osprey, geese, and turtles. Golfers might even catch a glimpse of an eagle soaring overhead. The layout tumbles across rolling sand dunes and combined with the seaside location, the golf course offers a true links feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. The diverse coastal terrain is covered with maritime forests and wetlands. The holes are both challenging and scenic, especially the seventh through the ninth, which sit right along the Sound. The golf course also finishes on the Sound with a scenic closing stretch. Playing The Currituck Club right at sundown will provide unrivaled views.

Sunday 11.14.21 Late Morning Round
Perfect time of year to play The Currituck Club, beautiful - sunny. Temps in the high '60's. Not too crowded but pace of play was a little slow holes 6-10. Surprised that the driving range was open (hadn't been the past 2 times we played this course). Greens were soft, fairways were in fantastic shape and everyone was very friendly. Great way to spend an afternoon!

Never Disappoints
I’ve played this course since it first opened up years ago. It has matured so nicely and conditions were as good as I’ve seen. Probably the 5th or 6th time playing this year alone. Greens were absolutely perfect!

Not Great
Was disappointed in the course. Gentleman in the Pro Shop was not very friendly which is unusual in the OBX. Pace of play was very slow.
Course was loaded with twosomes. Waited every shot. No marshal to push things along. There are other courses in the area that are much better.

Nice course but felt a little rushed.
The course was in great shape and the greens were in good condition. The marshall was great as he gave us some nice tips. However we were disappointed in the fact that the score cards had no maps of the holes and the yardage didn't match up with hole signage. The carts used to have gps and course notes, but new ones don't have this nice feature. The particular cart we had barely made it through the nine holes that we played and we almost had to push it back to the clubhouse. But overall it was a great afternoon with picturesque setting.

Unfriendly staff / slow round / brutal greens
Nice layout but improvement could go a long way with a few smiles and some good cheer
Def need to work on customer service - a basic hello would be nice from pri shop or bag staff
