About
The Currituck Club has a Rees Jones-designed layout that stands out from other Outer Banks courses, mostly thanks to its ideal location along the Currituck Sound. The golf course shares the landscape with an abundance of wildlife including deer, osprey, geese, and turtles. Golfers might even catch a glimpse of an eagle soaring overhead. The layout tumbles across rolling sand dunes and combined with the seaside location, the golf course offers a true links feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. The diverse coastal terrain is covered with maritime forests and wetlands. The holes are both challenging and scenic, especially the seventh through the ninth, which sit right along the Sound. The golf course also finishes on the Sound with a scenic closing stretch. Playing The Currituck Club right at sundown will provide unrivaled views.

Winter Golf at its Best!
2nd time playing in past 7 days - perfect greens and almost completely empty - incredible value at under $50 when normal in season rate is well over $100. Played this course right after it opened and love coming back down each year - super layout and sound views are awesome. Hawks all over the place...
Fun Track
I’ve had a great time playing this track the past couple of years. Have only played late summer, fall and now winter. The staff is okay... I’ve been to other vacation courses with better vibes. We’ve been privileged to have a home on the course so I’ve watched the crew work very hard maintaining the course and they do an awesome job. These guys are out here rain or shine 20-30 degrees working on this beauty so I appreciate the course even more now. The play is tough from the blues, I recommend the hybrid or the whites for a manageable good time. The pace during the high season is no fun so don’t come here expecting to be done under 5. I recommend a quick 9. The front 9 is a lot of fun, with awesome views, challenging holes and great layout! Bring your camera for hole 5,6,7 my favorites. The back is a bit redundant some blind shots, drivable par 4, short par 3 and an anticlimactic 18 to close. Over all practice your approach and putting and keep everything below the hole. Haven’t really explored the clubhouse, 19th is at the house! Oh yea, and bring lots of balls if you’re a casual golfer. Over all if you love golf you’ll enjoy the track. If you’re looking for vibes, I recommend bringing your own.

Best track in OBX!
This is a great designed course with trade winds affecting almost every shot. Course is always in great shape and today I thought the greens were in best condition I’ve ever played!

Good Course
The course is pretty because there are a Lake and a lot of water hazard in the middle of the course. However, don't expect too much fairway grass because it's winter season. The green grass was well maintained and good enough. I think it's good to play against the hot deal price.

Winter golf at Currituck
Currituck is by far the best course in the Outer Banks ! The winter fairways are dormant but the greens were in great condition! Pro shop staff were very nice and friendly. Got there a little to close to my tee time so I couldn't warm up on their driving range but the practice putting green is huge and also rolled quick and true. You won't be disappointed playing this nice track !

Enjoy this course but it is pricey. Wish I could play it more often but can't afford to.... especially in the summer.

Currituck Club 11-7-20
We played from the hybrid tees, which is plenty of golf for this 65 year old.The course was in excellent shape. The greens were true and receptive. The course layout offers a nice mix of short and long par3’s and 4’s. Kudos to the course superintendent and crew for their excellent work!
