The Currituck Club

I play at least once a week and have an 11 handicap. I really liked the layout, the greens hadn't healed from the aeration but rolled fine (people need to remember to fix their ball mark and at least one other). The fairways were very generous and in good shape. Our issue was a group of six were allowed to play together. After the first hole one twosome broke off from the groups in front of us and took off. The other two joined their friends and played with 6. That's when things got SLOW. We called the club house and a staff member came out but allowed them to play out the remaining holes together. Not a good thing. Overall I will play again when visiting OBX but someone needs to address what we experienced.

First time playing this course after many years playing other OBX venues. Would put it at top two in area,. Fairly forgiving fairways coupled with sand protected greens make it a challenging course without being too unreasonable. Would highly recommend. Somewhat expensive but not uncommon in resort areas without much competition.

Really nice course, great layout, good conditions. Doesn’t need to be as expensive as it is, but when you have minimal options and a captive audience, you get overcharged. Some pretty holes along the sound.

I thought the course had a very good layout, preserved trees and natural spaces. the back nine is exceptionally beautiful

Only special thing about this course is that it’s in the Outer Banks. Course layout was boring. Staff were incredibly unhelpful. If you’re in the OBX, choose a different course to play

The wind conditions at time were unbearable. The pace of play was slow.

First time playing this course and it was beautiful there. I’m on vacation from Pittsburgh and had to bring the clubs to play at least once. Well I’m going back again this week to play again cause it is that good to me to play again. Met the GM. On the course when I was playing with his nephew which I didn’t realize until he came out and followed us a few holes and he was a great guy. He invited me back for a good price. Wonderful staff. I come to the outer banks twice a year and will definitely be bringing the clubs for now on just to golf here.

Course was in great shape, but the annoying part of this day was the course was already behind starting pace by at least 2 tee times, and the starter let two members without a tee time jump us. On a already busy and slow day this rubbed us the wrong way.

First time golfing here. We’re on vacation down here and I wanted to golf. This course was recommended by a buddy of mine. They came out to the car and took my clubs out of the back and put them in the cart and took the cart around back. I’ve never had an experience like that and it was awesome. The staff was tremendously friendly and the course was amazing. Definitely will be back if we come back on vacation, and I will recommend anyone who stays in the area!

Always a good round of golf and nice facilities at the CC. Range is a plus. Lots of challenging water.

The course was in excellent condition. The greens were recently aerated but still rolled ok. Had a 1:46 tee time for two and played in 3 hours. Well worth the green fee even before the reduced rate for the afternoon.

I like this course, very challenging layout and the greens are forgiving and roll true for the amount play.

Have played this course many times. The difficulty changes like the weather on the sandbar. During the tourist season the course is busier on Mon-Thurs. it is always a fun course to play. Price to play are comparable to all the other courses in the area.
