About
The Currituck Club has a Rees Jones-designed layout that stands out from other Outer Banks courses, mostly thanks to its ideal location along the Currituck Sound. The golf course shares the landscape with an abundance of wildlife including deer, osprey, geese, and turtles. Golfers might even catch a glimpse of an eagle soaring overhead. The layout tumbles across rolling sand dunes and combined with the seaside location, the golf course offers a true links feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. The diverse coastal terrain is covered with maritime forests and wetlands. The holes are both challenging and scenic, especially the seventh through the ninth, which sit right along the Sound. The golf course also finishes on the Sound with a scenic closing stretch. Playing The Currituck Club right at sundown will provide unrivaled views.

Love this course
I keep reviewing this course because I keep playing it. My favorite in the area. Gave it four stars for course conditions...well it is February. Play it, you will like it.

OBX Golf
I got a great deal to play here through you folks. It may be off season and much of the fairway and rough was dormant but the greens are spectacular. I had a great golf experience.

Fantastic conditions winter golf
A lot of credit to the greens keeping staff for not only keeping the greens rolling true and with some speed but also maintaining the bunkers as well. All of the Bermuda tee boxes, fairways and rough are dormant so a spotty patch here and there is to be expected due to ground engagement plays. Course was fairly free of debris. Very helpful pro shop young man. Didn't eat here. I picked up the round off GolfNow at a great rate.

Were not allowed to finish our round
We booked a 1 PM tee time for an 18 hole round. Imagine our disappointment and surprise when the clubhouse manager met us on the 18th fairway to inform us the course closed at 4 and that we needed to quit our round. So why would you even offer a typical 4 hour round at 1 PM when you know the course would be closing at 4 PM. Not sure we will be back.

Nice greens. Expensive.
You are expected to play this course in 4 hours or less so know this going in. We had a couple holes where we all had to look for balls and got a little behind the twosome in front of us (we were a foursome) and caught some flak. We ended up finishing in 4 hrs 8 mins. Greens were very nice. Very windy. Rough was brutal. Fairways were nice. Pretty course. Open fairways. 5 tee sets. Not beginner friendly. Great range, practice trap and putting green.

Currituck Club
The course was in excellent condition. For a beautiful fall day, the course was surprisingly not busy. I was paired with another single and the pace of play was great... finished 18 holes in about 3-1/2 hours with a short break at the turn. Will definitely play there again, hopefully soon.

Kudos to Club and Course Staff
The course was in excellent condition considering there was a hurricane, as well as, flooding rains barely a week before. It was really amazing. Hardly any signs, with the exception of some downed trees and branches which were cleared off the course. Well done to the course people for for getting it back in playing condition so quickly. Also, the course is almost back to the top condition that it always was in before a bad year in 2018.

Slooooooow Round
Couldnt get 18 holes in .... even with a 1250 tee time
Overfilled golf course and everyone playing in the afternoon were miserable about the poor pace of play .... was not worth the $ today

Great Condition
Had a great time, but it was hot (not the golf course fault), and other groups were a bit slow. The ranger did a decent job keeping it moving. This is a course that is tough for the first timer, since you need a feel for ball positions off of the tee.

Pro walked by 2x& didnt even say hello ... no drop off/ bag boy services... kitchen closes at 4pm
