Club selection is key on this course. You have to hit the ball straight here in order to score.
The staff here is very friendly. The head pro is very cool and he and his staff take good care of the players.
Play with wife
Cloud and Rain Day, but pretty much good play each other.
King's Grant
Has been many years since I played here. Staff was great course was pretty good. The roads and paths were in need of repair. Overall had a great day.
Nice course
Kings grant is a solid course for the beginner to intermediate golfer. Facilities are not robust (gravel parking lot, snack bar was closed when we played but they did have free snacks available to compensate). Was busy but play kept moving on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Good value for a good course.
Overall Good Course
Course is well maintained, though last week the greens were in fantastic condition and this day there had just but air-aided which made them a little sandy. Fantastic course for the price, best in Fayetteville
Nice design
It was very very wet when we played it and we could only be on the cart paths so it was a lot of walking. There weren't many people playing and we were just a twosome so played in under 4 hours.
Great course for the price
Lots of interesting holes. It was March when we played so the grass wasn't great, but they priced it accordingly. Definitely worth playing. I've played much worse courses for a lot more money
It is hard to beleive you are in the middle of town when you play here.
The only reason the pace of play went to 5 hours was the fact that we were 2 decent players and two leaners.
I can't say enough about the layout of the coarse, with the path following some nice houses and away from any traffic, you don't get distracted by car noise.
The clubhouse is being rearranged for a new look, with last years line of products deeply discounted.
And with the addition of new carts this year, there are no worries about thier condition.
Solid course for the money
Head pro was less than outgoing, but the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in pretty good shape (greens were excellent) for late Jan in NC and has some creative holes. Would definitely play this course again!
Great bang for buck!
4 and a half stars! I was out of town for Thanksgiving and found this course via Golfnow. It was a bargain at $25 ($6 more for logo ball and range token) per round including cart. The practice facilities were great, you practiced on the grass and not a turf mat, always a plus. The fairways and greens were in excellent shape. You would have thought it was summer. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was b/c a few holes didn't have a paved cart path and there was no beverage cart girl. Maybe b/c it was black friday and she was shopping. Nevertheless it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend and go again the next time I'm in Fayetteville.
great value
this course had an interesting and challenging layout. Enjoyed the course and would definitely play again if in area.
