Great course but on the pricier side. Green had a bit of sand on them. That said, will play again.

The course was in good shape. The greens looked bad and were slow, but they putted well. The scenery was nice. They had a lot of rain the day before, so the course was cart path only, which was a bummer. The price was high even through Golf Now.

The course was no more than average. It was raining and a lot of water lying around and the greens had been top dressed.

The saddest thing for me was the last hole. It looks like they had ran out of space. My review is harsh but that is because of what I payed for the round. It’s certainly not value for money

First things first, I came down this time of year not knowing there was a tournament this week effecting all courses. So with that in mind, the pace of play was slow, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the course. The staff apologized and offered to give a range check for another full round. I chose to continued the back nine (started round on 10) and still had a blast, as it cleared on the front nine. And finished the front 9 in 75 mins. The 19th hole is very good, not your typical fare on a few items and some really good reliables. The pro shop is well stocked and apportioned. Again the staff was super nice and helpful.

I will definitely be coming back again the next time I’m down.

Bittersweet review. Caledonia F & GC is a special place, one of the more beautiful courses I've ever played BUT...they sanded the greens the very day we played and didn't say anything in the pro shop. The front 9 was playable but disappointing, but the back 9 was horrible. I'll go back, but that "mouth shut" policy makes me look a little sideways. I believe they should have done better by telling us about the greens and providing a discounted rate because it absolutely dulled the experience.

This is a beautiful course! The course is in excellent condition! Really a great place to play! Dont miss it!

The place is special absolutely beautiful course I would play here every time I visit Myrtle Beach it’s a Must see! The staff is amazing and the conditions are pristine!

Even though their website advertises free youth 16 and under with paid adult they wanted to charge me full rate until I inquired about a discount at that point they charged me half rate for my junior.

Having played this tract many times, my favorite on the Grand Strand, I was really disappointed in conditions. Unfortunately the greens have recently been punched and top dressed. This was not a major issue since maintenance needs to be performed..

The fairways were in terrible shape for a course that is supposed to be a "premium" course and charges premium rates.

All sandy areas are now considered waste areas. Apparently this also means no maintenance in them. All sandy areas are basically hard pan, even greenside areas.

This course was beautiful from the drive to the clubhouse to the final hole. Conditions were excellent, greens were really pure. True resort style course. The layout and the design is top notch as expected. If you don’t enjoy this course you don’t enjoy golf!

Heard so much hype about this course when I heard about it 5 years ago. Finally played it and was very disappointed in my expectations. Have played many expensive courses and this course had no range, bad practice area and not kept up. Was thinking course would be better which it was but not in great condition which could be because of lack of rain but crab grass like spots all over greens was such a shock… would not play again.

The course was in good shape with the exception of the rough and bunkers (leaves, etc. left over from fall). The greens were perfect and fairways were lush for the time of year (early April). This was one of the best public courses I have played. The view is gorgeous!

I was beyond impressed with the conditions , staff friendliness, and the chowder at the turn was delicious. 18th hole approach is over water in front of people enjoying a drink or lunch at the outdoor seating . I choked and hit it in the water . Whoops.
