Myrtle Beach National Golf Club - South Creek Course
About
Southcreek winds through a magnificent setting of coastal wetlands and hardwood forests. Most golfers find SouthCreek to be the "finess" course of the three golf courses at Myrtle Beach National. At just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, SouthCreek requires less distance but greater accuracy. Numerous waste areas and well protected bentgrass greens, place a premium on your course management and shot-making ability.

Playable for a newer golfer
Nice layout and playable for me as I am getting back into golf after many years off. The cart path needs to be redone badly.
Exceeded expectations!
As a novice, my wife and I both had a great experience at MBN. The South Creek course was in great shape, and beautifully laid out. It was challenging given my skill set, but I'd still consider it beginner friendly. The staff were all fantastic as well. We opted for an afternoon tee time which certainly helped with pace of played. will definitely be back!
Great Course for Women
We chose Myrtle Beach National South Course because two relatively good players were joined by our wives, who have handicap indexes around 35. We did not want a difficult course and we intentionally played in the afternoon when play was light. The course was interesting and great for the ladies. The greens were OK. A bit slow.
Water
The drought in this area has made it impossible to keep everything green. Tease and greens were in fairly good shape. Fairways were rough, hard, and difficult to play. I suspect a couple of good reigns would take care of that.
Beautiful Course
Enjoyed the course and the surroundings! Hope to play again soon!
Great course!
We had a wonderful time playing. The course was laid out really well. Friendly staff! I recommend to play here again!
Great looking course for quality solid for January
Got the tee time deal.and definitely worth it for the price with a discount. Fun course and everyone was friendly.
West Course
Had a group nine buddies and we couldn’t have had a better time. Course was in fantastic shape and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating or nicer. All in all a great time was had by all
"NATIONAL"?
We were underwhelmed by the course conditions of the South Creek course. For the money(yes, it deserves consideration), it was markedly less prime than expected. Would not likely come back
South Creek Course is Fun
Pace of play was good, just under 4 hrs, greens were very good, speed was fast and receptive. Course layout has a good mix of holes with water in play on more than half of the holes.
Some areas of the fairways and rough were a very wet.
Great course
It’s a tight course that if managed well will reward you. The greens were lightning fast and well manicured. Fairways had some wet spots where you got your occasional mud ball but nothing severe.
South Creek
Played south creek today and was very disappointed with the conditions, the greens were great the fastest we had played on all week but the state of the fairways was terrible they were so wet that the grounds crew couldn’t cut them , I had played the north course before and remember that course being great , I definitely wouldn’t recommend South Creek .
